Introduction

Hi, I'm Kellie Diaz, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and the founder of SyllaBloom Speech Therapy. I have over 10 years of experience supporting children with a wide range of communication needs, including speech sound disorders, language delays, AAC, autism, and social communication challenges. I'm passionate about creating meaningful, individualized therapy that helps children build confidence and communicate more effectively in everyday life. I value collaboration with families and strive to make therapy supportive, engaging, and functional for each child's unique strengths and needs.

What words would you use to describe yourself?

Compassionate
Knowledgeable
Dedicated
I chose these three words because they reflect both my personality and the way I approach therapy. I am compassionate because I genuinely care about helping children and families feel supported throughout the therapy process. I am knowledgeable because I have extensive experience working with a variety of communication disorders across school and private practice settings, including AAC and complex communication needs. I am dedicated because I consistently advocate for my clients, tailor therapy to each child’s goals, and work hard to create meaningful progress that carries over into daily life.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I am best positioned to support children with speech and language delays, articulation disorders, autism spectrum disorder, AAC needs, social communication challenges, and complex communication profiles. Much of my experience has been working with school-aged children who benefit from individualized, functional, and family-centered therapy. I especially enjoy helping children who need alternative ways to communicate build confidence and independence. I work closely with families to create practical goals and strategies that support communication across home, school, and community settings while making therapy engaging, supportive, and strengths-based.

    Beaming Review

Kellie is incredibly organized, knowledgeable, and skilled at working with everyone from parents to staff to students with significant needs. She is loving, caring, flexible, and particularly excellent with difficult behaviors and nonverbal populations. You'll be thankful to have her on your team, and I would 100% recommend her!
