In times of stress, those who've experienced trauma can have intensification of symptoms (sleep issues, isolation, crying, anxiety, hopelessness). This can be indicative of PTSD. Fortunately, there are evidenced-based treatments, and I am trained in them. If you're feeling more distressed during this time, let's talk and try to figure this out together. My work/training focuses on trauma work, military families, veterans, the elderly, but I do see a broad range of individuals; I can create a treatment plan tailored for you. Depression? I am trained in EMDR trauma treatment, Prolonged Exposure trauma treatment. I have a background in mental health issues in the elderly population, too.
