Introduction

Hi, I’m Kassandra, a pediatric speech-language pathologist based in Reedley, California. I work with children ages 0–12 and specialize in early intervention, speech sound disorders, and expressive and receptive language development. My therapy approach is play-based and child-led because I believe children learn best when they feel engaged, supported, and confident. I’m passionate about helping little ones say their first words and supporting older children as they strengthen their communication skills. I also love empowering families by making therapy practical, collaborative, and fun for everyone involved.

If I had to describe myself in three words, I would choose kind, patient, and empathetic. I strive to create a warm and supportive environment where children feel safe to learn and families feel heard and encouraged. Parents often tell me I connect naturally with children and make therapy enjoyable and engaging. I truly value building trusting relationships and celebrating every milestone, no matter how small. Whether I’m helping a toddler communicate their first needs or supporting an older child with speech clarity, I approach every session with compassion, positivity, and patience.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I am best positioned to serve children ages 0–12 who need support with early language development, expressive and receptive language skills, and speech sound disorders. I especially enjoy working with young children during early intervention and helping families feel confident supporting communication at home. My play-based, child-led approach works well for children who thrive through engaging and interactive learning experiences. While I have experience supporting a variety of communication needs, I am not as well-positioned to serve children whose primary concern is stuttering, as that is not my primary area of expertise.
