Hello! I’m Kara, a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist based in beautiful Aliso Viejo, CA. I specialize in helping children—from birth through the school-aged years—develop strong communication skills through a play-based, family-centered approach. I believe that effective speech and language skills support improved behavior, boost self-confidence, and lead to greater success in both social and academic settings—ultimately enhancing a child’s overall quality of life. My areas of expertise include: Early Intervention Speech Sound Disorders (Articulation, Phonology, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech) Language Delays Gestalt Language Processing I take a client-centered, evidence-based approach to evaluations and therapy, and I’m committed to staying current with the latest research and best practices. I regularly engage in continuing education and professional development to ensure I’m providing the highest level of care. When I’m not in the office helping children communicate clearly and confidently, you can find me soaking up the sun on Orange County’s beaches, hiking local trails, reading, and spending time with my husband and our two wild (but adorable!) sons.
