Introduction
Hi! My name is Justine Tucker, and I’m a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist based in Laurel, Maryland. I work with children ages 3–10 and take a playful, individualized, and family-centered approach to therapy. I offer virtual therapy or travel to a child’s daycare or another community setting. I do not currently provide in home visits. My goal is to make speech and language therapy engaging, supportive, and meaningful for every child. I have experience treating articulation disorders, expressive and receptive language, Augmentative and Alternative Communication ( AAC), and social communication/pragmatics. I’m passionate about helping children build confidence while giving families practical strategies they can use throughout everyday life.

I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely engaged, so I try to bring warmth and playfulness into every session. I’m also attentive to each child’s individual personality, communication style, strengths, and needs. I want families to feel heard and supported throughout the therapy process, and I strive to create a space where children can feel successful, celebrated, and excited to communicate.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I am best positioned to serve children ages 3–10 who have expressive or receptive language disorders, articulation disorders, or AAC needs. I work with children who need support using language to communicate their wants, needs, ideas, and experiences, as well as children who benefit from visual supports or AAC. I also work with children who have difficulty producing specific speech sounds and want to become easier to understand. I’m a good fit for families looking for playful, individualized therapy with practical strategies they can use at home and in everyday routines.
