Everybody at John Hopkins is so nice and I am very satisfied with their services. My two-year-old daughter is autistic and shes getting multiple therapies there and I have absolutely no complaints Im super excited about our future with the help of all these wonderful therapists.

Took my daughter this morning 8422 to get blood work done at the lakeland hills location as I was coming in the man who checks patients in before you go inside the building asked us if anyone in the home has had Covid I said no. Asked if anyone was sick I said no. He then said well you look sick to me and when I tell you my jaw dropped I couldnt believe he said that. It was 8AM I was tired 8 months pregnant swollen not wearing makeup so Im assuming he was just referring to the fact that I looked awful. Truly hurt my feelings truly so unprofessional.

I take both of my children here for therapy and I absolutely love the love and care they get from their therapist. Front desk is super nice and attentive when I need to cancel my appointments in emergencies. Love it here

Awful customer service. Tried to schedule an appointment for my foster boys and they made it the worst headache. They asked for more private information about their past than I even know. And then request for the case worker to call and make the appointments instead. Ive never had a doctor or specialist have me do this. They also tell you they dont have time to wait for you to get any information that you need and to call back later yet its okay for them to put you on hold for 10 mins a classic my time is more valuable than your time. Dont ask any questions about why they do what they do theyll just hang up in your ear.

My son and I were overly welcomed by the staff. From the sweet lady working security at the desk the lovely admissions lady and wonderful doctors. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The compassionate and caring staff at the facility is what people who are going through tough situations need. It was a breath of fresh air for me to experience the kindness and patience shown to my son. I would recommend them to anyone.

I would recommend this place for labs who have children 1010 I previously took my son to Quest not knowing it would be such a traumatic experience for both him and his father. The level of care when comparing the two is insane John Hopkins will forever be our second home for any type of childrens medical care. Again if you have kids AVOID quest and save your little the bad experience and just come here

One star only because zero stars is not an option.Absolutely worst place weve had blood work done for our children. Weve been to their Tampa St. Pete and now Lakeland location. All three have been a horrible experience for my family. I dont use these expressions looselyAs stated by another reviewer save your child the trauma. Even if your hospital refers you to John Hopkins be sure to explore your options. As a parent you have the right to choose who provides care to your child. Even it you have to travel further for the appointment your childs emotional well-being is worth the time and gas money.St. Josephs off MLK in Tampa was a SUPERIOR experience. The blood draw was quick and a lot less painful. It was completed in a fraction of the time it took at John Hopkins.

Came in for an evaluation for feeding therapy which was set up relatively quickly and went well HOWEVER that is where the positivity ends for us - they will rate your child on a scale of High Moderate aka normal and Low and then put you on a wait list and you can wait on that list for over a year if not longer. I understand how that all works and I know some cases are more severe than ours but they dont tell you this BEFORE you get an evaluation. They have 2 therapists available maybe try to hire more to work with ALL the patients regardless of where they rate and if they classify your child as moderate you essentially will NEVER get a phone call for help. They will give you a list of other therapists here in Lakeland which is a joke and tell you to use their evaluation and it should be honored Right thats how it works because those other clinics dont want the money that John Hopkins received from insurance plus your portion for the evaluation to NOT help anyone For all the people who have glowing reviews I am glad your child rated as someone that qualified for help. For us this has just been a HUGE waste of time and extreme disappointment due to not explaining things beforehand otherwise I wouldve taken my child for an evaluation to someone that actually WANTS TO HELP US. They got paid though so I suppose that is all that matters.

Update to a previous 1 Star Review. It took my son 7 months to get into John Hopkins due to some clerical issues.. but once that all was resolved and we started therapy.. it was amazing for one reason.. Megan Anderson my sons physical therapist. Each week Megan went above and beyond for my sons Torticollis and after 6 months of therapy he graduated and is no longer showing any issues. For this reason I wanted to give credit where its due. Thank you Megan for being there for us.

New mom here and I was worried about my baby failing her hearing screening twice. We were referred to John Hopkins for yet another hearing evaluation. The front desk lady doctor were very welcoming and guided us throughout the entire process. It was a pleasure to have the doctor we had I forgot her name and my baby passed her hearing evaluation. It was a good day
