I want to share my experience working at Swing for the Stars as a physical therapist as I think its important to know not only that clients receive the best care here but so do the employees and therapists. I knew from the minute I moved back to NH that Swing for the Stars is the only place I wanted to work. I love that Jodie the owner has developed a multi-disciplinary clinic where all disciplines are encouraged to collaborate and work across the aisle to support a childs needs and to treat a child as a whole instead of individual pieces. I like how she has the option for a flexible schedule and you get 6 hours of paperwork time built into each week. Mentoring is available to new graduates or therapists new to pediatrics but she also trusts her therapists to do their job. She provides ample opportunity and support for pursuing additional areas of interest through continuing education and she really fosters a learning environment. I dont take for granted that I wake up every morning and Im HAPPY to go to work and I think that speaks volumes.

I dont think I have ever written a bad review before. My son 10 who has severe autism was a patient at Swing for the Stars OT and PT for a couple months before the COVID pandemic hit. Services naturally stopped for a few months and this summer we were told that they would reopen at decreased capacity with social distancing and masks. I confessed I was unsure of how successful my son would be with mask wearing and we tried it out successfully for the first session a month later. The next session he disregulated wouldnt wear a mask and I was told that he wouldnt be able to come back until the end of the pandemic. What bothers me is that the problem was an OTPT kind of problem and we were left without directions or suggestions. We werent led to any additional resources and were left to fend for ourselves. We are 5 months out and as of today nobody has called us to check on how he is doing without his needed therapies. I feel like there is a lot of trust one needs to have when handing your child over to a therapist and I feel like my son was written off.

My son attends Swing and sees Kristen for OT. She has been an enormous help and constantly gives suggestions to help improve things. She is extremely insightful and we have had nothing but positive experiences here .
