The doctor literally needs to go back and get better education not to be mean but he really does. He prescribed me fish oil pills as a medication treatment while I was going through a difficult time

Worst doctor ever. Please whatever you do do NOT go to this lack of a doctor. Back in 2015 when I had left the Valley Baptist psychiatric hospital I went to Dr. Evans for medications. His staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. The drugs he prescribed me gave me terrible. side effects which caused me to end up BACK in the psychiatric hospital. My two experiences at that hospital were less than pleasant but thats another story thank God it closed its doors last year. My hope is that Dr. Evans office closes its doors soon before he hurts anyone else.

I wouldnt even give him one star. He is very unprofessional and he doesnt listen. Its only what he thinks that matters. He doubled my prescription then accused me of abuse even after I called pharmacy and they verified I havent refilled early at all. His staff is very rude especially the short woman who works the desk. They dont communicate with each other and the office reeks of urine. In my opinion this is just a pill mill who caters to those who kiss his ass.

Terrible Dr and even worse staff. They are rude and unprofessional Dr has lost or never had a passion for medicine. After waiting for 1 12 hours he didnt listen to my concerns and pushed us out of office as fast as possible.

Dr. Evans is a terrible doctor. It took us forever to get an appointment with him to see our daughter. We finally got an appointment only to have him spend 5 minutes with her and write her a prescription. He did no counseling or diagnosis he simply wrote her a prescription and continues to do only that. I am so disappointed and would never recommend this person to anyone. It is sad that we have so little choices in the Harlingen area.

Dr. Evans correctly diagnosed me and prescribed medications which work well for me. He was the first doctor to acknowledge that fibromyalgia requires treatment for pain. I saw 3 different psychiatrists in the McAllenEdinburg area none of these doctors spoke with me for more than 30 seconds and another in Harlingen who was more interested in receiving high payments than treating me before the correct diagnosis was made.I tribute Dr. Evans for giving my life back and for giving me a clear understanding of my condition. While it may require sitting in his waiting room and having appointments changed from time to time I feel that it is worth the wait to see him. I so not think there is a better psychiatrist in this area.If you wish to have a long discussion with a clinician I recommend seeing a psychologist as well.
