Introduction
My name is Jasmine Morcos, and I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist and founder of Flourish Pediatric Therapy, serving families throughout Coastal and South Orange County. I work with children from birth through age 7, providing individualized, play-based therapy that is family-centered, strengths-focused, and evidence-based. My areas of expertise include early intervention, late talkers, expressive and receptive language delays, speech sound disorders, AAC, social communication, and parent coaching. I’m especially passionate about helping children find their voice, build confidence, and develop meaningful communication skills while empowering families to feel confident supporting communication at home. I believe therapy should feel engaging and natural for children, with skills built through play, connection, and everyday routines.
What words would you use to describe yourself?
I chose warm, patient, and attentive because these qualities reflect how I approach both my clients and their families. I strive to create a welcoming environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and excited to participate in therapy. Patience is especially important to me because every child learns and communicates at their own pace. I also make it a priority to be attentive to each child’s individual needs, interests, and strengths so I can provide therapy that feels meaningful, engaging, and personalized to them.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I am best positioned to serve young children with speech and language needs, particularly those who benefit from early intervention. I enjoy working with late talkers, children with expressive and receptive language delays, speech sound disorders, and children who use or may benefit from AAC. I am also passionate about supporting children with social communication needs. My play-based, child-led approach allows me to meet each child where they are, build on their individual strengths and interests, and work closely with families to help communication skills carry over into everyday routines. Because my practice is focused exclusively on pediatrics, I’m not as well-positioned to serve adults or individuals seeking services outside of pediatric speech and language therapy.
