I am a licensed psychologist who primarily works with children, adolescents and families. I have over 20 years of experience with this population including my subspecialty training in children and adolescents in my graduate studies. I have provided psychotherapy for individuals and couples and have seen patients from age 18 months to 90+ years old. I provide individual, group and family therapy as well as psychological assessment. I currently work at Kaiser Permanente in the Department of Psychiatry LAMC. I am the Training Director for our APA accredited internship program. I have a variety of responsibilities including facilitating psychodiagnostic assessment, supervising predoctoral interns, running psychotherapy groups and being a member of the multidisciplinary team for children on the Autistic Spectrum. I believe that early intervention is key to success and healthy development for any child. When I was in private practice, I developed the concept of TRACK to assist parents in determining if their young child needs additional help or guidance in the academic setting. I believe that it is most effective to involve parents and other primary caretakers in therapy, but it is most important to establish a safe and trusting environment for the child or adolescent.
