A working clinic with faculty and students providing speech-language pathology and audiology services to the community. Our clinicians address the following disordered areas: SPEECH Producing specific sounds or having an accent in need of modification to produce standard American speech sounds FLUENCY Smoothness or flow of speech (disorders include stuttering) VOICE Pitch, volume, or quality of voice LANGUAGE Comprehension and/or expression HEARING Audibility and speech understanding COGNITIVE COMMUNICATION Attention, memory, problem-solving skills SOCIAL COMMUNICATION Social interaction and pragmatic skills ALTERNATIVE COMMUNICATION Need for assistive technology Graduate students and upper level undergraduate students provide service delivery under the supervision of academic and clinical faculty, who are nationally certified by the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA).
