In my career Ive worked for several ABA companies over the years and INVO is an exceptional organization truly dedicated to the mission of helping others. An ABA program is only as good as the staff members running that program and here at the St. Petersburg location you will find an outstanding team of fantastic individuals who hold the highest integrity always going above and beyondThe staff members are an amazing group of kind caring and highly skilled individuals who have the childrens best interest at the heart of all they do following the utmost ethical standards of practice. Many RBTs are continuing their education and working to obtain their BCBA credentials. They have a true passion for this work and it shows. They are a dedicated team of professionals with a collaborative approach always developing creative strategies and fresh ideas. They honor the dignity and unique needs of each individual child and family with respect and planning appropriate to those needs. Communication is always key to a successful experience. Invo office staff BCBAs and RBTs are always available and communicating directly with families daily. The center is a cheerful and inviting space with ample individual therapy rooms several large spaces for working on gross motor skills areas for group social skills activities and a life-skills area for learning how to do laundry make a bed or fold clothes. There is an indoor and outdoor playground with slides and swings that the children love. Toys and therapy materials are new and in excellent condition. The environment is welcoming encouraging and a place anyone would enjoy spending time.

By far the worse ABA company we have worked with.First the billing department appears to be one person who consistently sent us erroneous bills bills that were 6 months late and was difficult to get in contact with. Then despite asking for someone that had some experience the RBT sent to us was clearly not. In his presence and only his presence my son developed new challenging behaviours he literally had his therapist running in circles. The RBT was quite simply not a good fit for my son. I expressed my concerns to the lead BCBA including a need for a different therapist but instead of respecting that I was told that the issues would be taken care of. As it turned out taking care of the issues meant they would work on training the RBT. And so while they were focusing on managing their employee my sons behaviours very quickly escalated. The most frustrating part was they were no longer even working on my sons behaviour plan but more so how to help an inexperienced employee do his job.Things became so intense that our lead BCBA brought in her supervisor to observe a session and together they blindsided me by recommending we move sessions from in-home to in-clinic so they could get a handle of the behaviours. There was no room for open discussion.Had they addressed the issue head on when I first brought it up had they done a search to find another therapist I firmly believe that things would not have escalated. After requesting that we be discharged from their care I quickly found service with another company. Our current RBT although a bit inexperienced is a much better fit and our BCBA listens to and addresses my concerns immediately. The difference in service is astonishingPARENTS Never ever let a provider tell you they know whats best for your child when it goes against . Yes ask for advice here other opinions but follow your instincts.I will never work with this company again and will never recommend them to someone else.
