Our overall experience is 1 star for the learning experience I received from this place. The care coordinators counselors supervisors providers nurses and the medication management providers are all unprofessional. Intermountain hires employees with mental health issues to support others with mental health problems. A lot of misguided help and decisions are made at this place because the staff are not qualified to be helping others. They made many mistakes including with medication. All they offer is ABA therapy without the parents even understanding this type of therapy. I did my own research on ABA and its abuse to anyone with behavioral challenges. They believe ABA has been revised and improved from what it was. Thats a lie. The young employees are brainwashed and the older employees are either incompetent or untrustworthy.

I was seen there a few years ago by a therapist named Nikki who was amazing they were apart of the community and leveled with me in so many ways and got me through some things I was going through at the time being 20 or 21 like dang she was a rare diamond and I am thankful for this place because I wouldnt have gotten the help I needed if this place wasnt here and didnt offer the care they did

They never update records correctly or upload pertinent documents to ensure trauma isnt continuously placed upon families. They do not take proper steps in the reporting process when information is given in private sessions. You guys really need to get it together. As a mental health facility you should understand PTSD and triggers when you dont get your things right.

4 staff members I interacted with and only 1 seemed to semi care. Had a significant issue because dr.kramer was not taking proper notes. I have asthma this was not in my notes.1A therapist dropped mewout warning when I didnt want to try to be normal aka pretend I dont have diagnoses to the detriment of me in order to not annoy people with my needs.2The psychiatrist was never engaged or paid attention Basically disregarding anything I said dead set on putting me on medication that was running my sleep.3went in for what was supposed to be an autism eval it was another intakeconsultation . For information they should already have. The doctor seemed uninterested like she was just waiting to go home. Im not very hopeful about the rest of the autism diagnostic process.4the only one who seemed to care very flexible lisa will respect your pronouns to the best of her ability. She does talk alot so be avid about being apart of the conversation or be prepared to listen.Overall I didnt like my time with this place I did learn some stuff. I dont know for sure if dr.weibreck3 will be better in later appointments if not I will simply go somewhere else.

I understand that there is a high turnover in childrens behavioral health and that there are an overwhelming amount of need. However with that being known one would think there would be measures in place to keep children that they say are high needs from experiencing gaps in care when someone leaves. The patients are required to have crisis safety plans for their health yet there is little accountability from the provider. If I hear I dont know one more time and they wonder why there is hesitation in seeking treatment. Therapists give up after 3 appointments saying the child is not engaged enough. It is a high needs child of course it is going to take more then a few attempts. You are only teaching that child that if they avoid long enough everyone will leave them alone.

Ive been taking my son here for years. I was told it was the best in town. If this place is best in town then Tucson has low standards for there residents behavioral healthMy sons first Dr. gave my son the wrong prescription they fired her.Dr. 2 Wanted to give him 4-5 different doses of his medicine a day. Which turned him chunky and then got him bullied at his school. Not to mention the previous meds he took were one pill and worked great Paying no mind to my reservation and constantly trying to push some sort of horse treatment. My son is scared of horses.Dr. 3 this is a new Dr. Who talks to you five minutes and wrights out the meds.Speaking of meds have I mentioned itsIn possible to get his medicine in a timely manner. Hes always off for a week or more before he get his new batch. One time almost three months.. And dont get me started on how no one will ever call you back... So If you like felling like no one cares this is the place for you

Both my step daughters had 2 intake appointments I was told what I should bring and once I got there Paula rolled her eyes once I told her I was the step parent and walked out of the room. She was very rude and very unprofessional and made my daughters feel like they were nothing to her. I will never step foot in this place again everyone but the front office lady looked like they absolutely hated there jobs.i would never in a million years refer this place to anyone .

This place is amazing they take the time to know you and your child. The providers offer flexible scheduling some late afternoon and some early before school which is super helpful for both work and school schedules. The staff is wonderful and caring even the front desk staff helps in any way they can they did just change to automated reminder calls which is great when you have more than 1 kid and more than 1 appointment on any given day.

They are only in it for the insurance money they do not care about the mental health of clients. The Doctors are wonderful but the board of directors ties there hands of being able to help the clients. The nurses are unreliable and required to see patients when mental health issues arrise and appointments are month out with Doctor. Nurse has never had no other contact with client but now are in charge of clients medication and changes to meds If you can use another mental health provider or private it will save you or your loved ones. If I could my son would not be with this corporation that only cares about insurance money. His Phych Doctor is amazing and should go into private practice dont know how she hasnt gone crazy herself with the bunch of money grubbing board of directors with there policy changes that only effect the way they can make more money of hurting mental ill clients and there insurances pocket book. Having a nurse see patients for abnormal self harming behavior Never met client before has a 5min med check with stranger We wonder why are so many issues in Tucson Could be places like intermountain are creating more issues by having nurses do highly educated phych doctors work with patients they have never laid eyes on before

If I could give 0 stars I would. My son had an appointment scheduled for an intake. I was told the best place for kiddos on the spectrum was intermountain. Well my first experience was horrible. I didnt receive a reminder call and I have tons of appointments so for me those are life savers. I showed up 5 minutes late after searching for the location. The receptionist did not awknowledge me until 315...the intake coordinator came out and as we sat down in her office she said I hope you brought his birth certificate. I replied no as no one told me I needed it. She said do you have someone at home who can bring it. I told her no. She said then we cant see him I dont know if he is yours or not. Give me a freaking break... I have 3 insurance cards 2 of which have his and my name on them plus his ss card. So I wasted my afternoon off work wasted my pto...and I even said I never was told and didnt receive a reminder call. She said Well I called you today...Yes at 207 today...with no voicemail..she giggled and said yeah I didnt wait for voicemail. But we can set up another time. I told her not to waste her time as this was not a good first impression and I will go elsewhere.
