Innovative Therapy 4 Kids

I have been working with Laura Walls for almost a year and cant say enough good things about her and the entire staff. My orthodontist recommended that I work with her for my tongue thrust. Laura has changed my lifeI have spent the majority of my adult life with headaches and neck pain. Since working with Laura I no longer have neck pain my posture has improved significantly tongue thrust just about gone and headaches are rare. She has improved my breathing which in turn has improved my sleep I look forward to my sessions with Laura and recommend IT4K to family and friends. She is a miracle worker

I have a long history with IT4K. 17 years ago when my 3 year old wasnt walking or talking at developmental standards I felt lost and confused never mind extremely scared. As soon as I walked into the clinic and my daughter began therapy with Amy and Colleen I felt assured she was in good hands. Their multi-disciplinary approach allowed for a cross over in therapies in a way I didnt even know was possible. The therapists always allowed me in the room and were very good at communicating progress and goals. I learned the importance of doing the home program recognizing and fulfulling her sensory needs along with the physical and speech homework. Fast forward almost 15 years and I find myself on Lauras table finally finding relief from a 30 year old jaw injury. I once again was impressed by the professionalism expertise and compassion put forth by Laura and her team. I highly recommend IT4K for families looking for care direction and compassion.

I have been working with Laura Walls for about 1.5 years and cannot recommend her and IT4K enough. I originally came in for my tongue thrust but quickly realized how many other systems in my body were affected by this issue- sleeping breathing allergies neck pain etc.I know it sounds cheesy but Laura has changed my life. Her approach is truly holistic and she continually explores new treatments to incorporate into her practice. For example she recently performed a nasal cranial release on me to open up my airways and reset any asymmetries. I have previously seen ENT doctors and was recommended surgery to help with turbinate reduction and nasal valve collapse. However from Lauras nasal release I am now able to breathe through my noise without resistance and no longer have nasal valve collapse when I inhale.I hardly recognize myself from the person I was at the beginning of myofunctional therapy. I have transformed into a much more confident person with the tools to overcome my tongue thrust. Thank you Laura and all the staff at IT4K. I can not say enough good things about this clinic

I cannot speak highly enough regarding Kimberly Quinn OT. We took our twin 5 year olds to someone prior for 3 mos with little noticeable behavioral improvement. After spending only a few sessions with Kim our girls have began to flourish. The main reason we went to her was to help with self-regulation and help with expediting the getting ready for school bedtime routines. Kim ties together both the mind body to offer practical tools leading to solutions. Kim is the best at what she does we couldnt be more grateful

My son Wyatt age 8 has been struggling with his handwriting. My wife and I recently had a parent teacher conference and Wyatts teacher highlighted what we already knew was a concern for us. It was time to do something. We took Wyatt to Innovative Therapy 4 Kids to see Kennedy for the handwriting program. Kennedy is an excellent occupational therapist She is knowledgeable patient and incredibly good with Wyatt. She made him feel comfortable and at ease during the sessions which was crucial for his progress. She also did a fantastic job of explaining the therapy plan to us gave us home program activities that we could functionally fit in at the end of our day and she kept us updated on his progress.Innovative Therapy 4 Kids approach is not your ordinary drill-drill-drill till it hurts type of therapy. The activities they were doing were dynamic and built a solid foundation for Wyatt. He was learning his left and rights as he was balancing on a rocker board playing with several types of putty to build hand strength writing with dry erase markers on the window to keep him motivated with handwriting tasks. After just a few weeks of therapy my wife and I had seen a significant improvement. Wyatts handwriting is now much more legible and he is even starting to enjoy writing Both his teachers at school pulled me aside last week to show me writing samples from the past and what he was currently doing. I was blown away by what I sawWe are incredibly grateful to Kennedy for her expertise and dedication. We highly recommend her to anyone seeking occupational therapy for their child.

We have two boys that attend Occupational therapy for fine motor skills speech services and OT for picky eating. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and most importantly they are great with the kids. They are so patient. They are very informative to us parents on what they work on in sessions and they give helpful tips for the home. My boys get so excited to come here every week. Im so grateful

We are SO grateful we found Ms. Kim OT She was highly recommended and understands kids better than anyone. Her sessions are fun and full of games. My daughter would beg to go see her. She really helped regulate my daughter and understood her unique behaviors that even I struggled to understand. No other practitioner knew how to help my daughter except for Ms. Kim. I think my daughter knew she was in good hands because she bonded so well to her and that hasnt happened with any other teacher therapist. Cant thank you guys enough

Innovative Therapy 4 Kids has been a life saver for my almost three-year-old son. Hes had speech and physical therapy for over 18 months and has recently included occupational therapy to his schedule. My wife and I have seen so much growth in his development specifically his endurance stamina articulation and most importantly his confidence. My son began therapy with one word and now he can hold conversations with us. He runs jumps and balances...a far cry from where he started with Ms. Amy. Ms. Kim has helped him regulate his emotions get dressed in the morning and fine-tune his fine motor skills.
