Founding Story

As a graduate of Loma Linda University in 1999, Shannon headed straight into pediatrics. She started ICT as a single therapist in 2001 servicing exclusively the birth to three populations in their homes. As ICT grew she opened the current clinic site located in Colton in 2004 where there was finally an option in the Inland Empire to have a truly multi-disciplinary team all under one roof. Shannon has completed many continuing education courses with an emphasis on NDT and completed her 8 week training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment of Children with Cerebral Palsy in 2004. She also enjoys working as a contract instructor at Loma Linda University in their entry level Doctoral program.

As a military family we understand the need to be flexible but communication and professionalism are paramount to this. After moving to Thrive from another agency we had high hopes but found much of the same. MANY cancelled or rescheduled appointments and miscommunications across three teachers from different focuses. My child and we were continuously dissapointed by last minute changes by people we thought were there to help us especially during this extra difficult time. Now switching to our third provider in hopes they will be able to live up to their own promises. I will say the staff was kind and knowledgeable when they did make appointments.
