Always helping me when I need them

My son has been a recipient of I h s s for many years having protective supervision and weve worked with several social workers. Unfortunately last yearwe missed the annual home visit and were subsequently cut off from the program. It took a long time for us to get a new application put through and finally we got our home visit completed. I would like to give a big thank you to Miss Johnson who not only went above and beyond to get this appointment for us but spent quite some time here at our home offering so much valuable advice and offering different suggestions and programs that we might access to better improve the quality of my childrens lives. In all these years I have never had anyone from IHSS ever take the time to try to help us like she did today. And I am enormously grateful and feel very blessed that she was assigned to my family and I hope that whoever reviews these comments takes note of this as she should be given some kind of recognition for her exemplary services. Im very grateful and looking forward to following up on her suggestions.

Thiefs they are to certain people in this country

If I live in a shelter with my elderly mother could I still do ihs for her like be her caregiver while we stay in the shelter

After 2 weeks of them giving me halfbaked information on the phone I still cannot join the orientation class and its only once a week for 40 people. They told me it started at 10 then they told me 9 then they said be here by 8 but when I got here before 8 they said were already full by 7. A complete waste of time and gas. Terrible system and management of it. I should be able to sign up ahead of time to reserve a spot not this first-come first-serve garbage. People have other things to do than wait hours for a CHANCE to join the class. If I could give 0 stars I would. They say they are constantly full hours before the class so WHY DONT YOU HAVE MORE THAN 1 CLASS PER WEEK Absolutely ridiculous. Whoever made the rules and runs this should be ashamed of their management and critical thinking skills. No use in coming back since this is the way it is.

when you work for the county as a caregiver it takes up to 10 business days to pay you direct deposit something completely ilegal and the union doesnt do anything definitely not a good place to work
