Very expensive and often a waste of my time and money. My first visit I spent more time listening about the PTs personal hobbies then they spent addressing the reason I was there.I will say the OT I worked with Matt was great and I appreciated his help. But the others although nice people I felt like I got little out of them and the rates were so high I literally couldnt afford to continue to come.

If I can give this place a zero I would. I was referred here for a consultation after my car accident for physical therapy. At the time I was still getting treatment from my chiropractor but I came for the consultation anyways. I had my consultation on Sept 1 2022. After the consultation I decided that this wasnt meant for me as I was still getting my treatment from my chiropractor and it was like overkill. They tried to make me book upcoming appointments and I said that I am okay but they kept pressuring. I didnt book any upcoming appointments and even gave them a call back in a couple of days to make sure there was no appointments because I just didnt trust them. Im glad I follow my gut because yesterday Jan 9 2023 I received a bill from them saying that I got service done on 1052022 and 12282022. I gave them a call right away in the morning and was told that I came in for service. I said how could I come in for service when I never made any appointments. Then they said oh this was a cancelation no show fee. I said how can I be charged for a no show fee when I never made an appointment. I asked do they not communicate to their patients about upcoming appointments Because every place I have gone to will either call text or email you to remind you that you have an appointment. The guy who I was speaking with said that he will have them investigate this as I did not make any appointments. I was never contacted about any no show or cancelation. Im still waiting to hear back from them and I have updated my attorney on whats going on. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and I dont even get treatment from here.Update as of 562023I just received another bill from them about services on 42823. Its been a fight trying to get a hold of someone to figure out what is going on as stated above I never made any appointments with them besides my initial consultation back in Sept of 2022.

While no one else had helped me figure out my extreme ailments.Cyndi and Dr. Agre were my sole sources of relief hope and belief in my pain and suffering. I literally called Cyndi my angel. My health has progressed so rapidly and intensely I ONLY looked forward to leaving the house for my OT appts. After paying 330 for a balance on an 01192023 EMG procedure I was told that my acct was clear and at zero balance. I show up on Monday 01222024 and am pulled into the CEOoffice managers officeStan Babel whom Ive never seen there before and Im there once a week at least like a child in trouble in a principals office and humiliated by being randomly shown thousands of owed dollars that I have to completely pay off before ever being seen again. Mind you Ive been a patient here since May 2023 and now JUST receiving a bill. He states that insurance just takes that long sometimes. The one facility in my journey of intense chronic pain etc that made me feel special for 8 monthsin 1 morning made me feel like a useless poor burdensome statistic. While he was kind during our discussion I was a puddle and he just let me walk out of the office like it was the end. I was completely heartbroken . These are supposed to be people that specialize in painAnd NO APOLOGY for what was actually delinquent negligent lack of sending monthly invoices.I FINALLY RECEIVED A BILLINVOICE 9 months after receiving therapy..needless to say I spoke incredible words about here beforeI wouldve preached about this facility to my church and family. My heart is crushed. Ive spoken to several other sources that prove this is a common protocol that happens at this small business.I pray I find another doc like Cyndi that wants to truly figure me out and doesnt consider me a number.

I really enjoy coming here I told my doctors about this place as well. I learned about this by accident and I wish more people could know about this If you have a brain injury and you are physically able to do this this is one of the best facilities. From the reception workers to the therapists I have had a great experience. My therapists are Cindy Mara and Jess. I love working with all of them and they are really good at communicating amongst themselves to help tailor a good treatment plan.

The clinic has fraudulent billing practices. They dont provide invoices and ask to have a credit card on file. The scheduling is difficult and the clinic struggles to retain staff. I would not recommend and I was not treated with respect here nor my condition was treated with respect.

Impact is one of the very best Physical therapy clinic I have ever been to. I work as an interpreter and have been to many different places I know that they do the best job here at impact. The therapists are greater than some other places I have been to they are kind professional compassionate and empathetic toward their patients. I love this place especially the front desk ladies they are always so kind they greet everyone with a nice and warm welcoming smiles. I always feel so cheerful happy and welcome when I go there. They also have the best massage therapist that will help to relax and ease the body tension that you have from pain. I have been treated for a year now in this place and it is one of the place I would recommend to those who has pain or injuries. Love impact You guys are the best

Frequently Asked Questions
The occupational therapy process includes an OT evaluation before care starts. Here are the four steps your family can expect when starting occupational therapy:
Complete OT evaluation. An occupational therapist first identifies your child’s strengths and needs through a thorough OT evaluation, also known as an OT assessment or screening. You’ll answer questions about your child’s skills, and your child will most likely demonstrate their skills via hands-on activities with the therapist. Evaluations can last 30 minutes to a few hours.
Approve OT plan. The therapist develops a care plan with individualized goals and customized interventions based on your child’s needs. You can also share any specific goals or concerns before approving the OT plan.
Start therapy sessions. The therapist works directly with your child and your family, using various strategies and exercises to systematically improve areas of limitations and to build upon a child’s strengths. Some exercises your child might participate in are animal walks, obstacle courses, and therapy swing activities. Your family may learn strategies for supporting your child’s individualized needs at home, such as ways of supporting emotional regulation and sensory processing. The therapist may also recommend tools and techniques to use at home, in the community, or in the classroom to help your child succeed.
Monitor your child’s progress. Parents and caregivers can expect ongoing progress monitoring and communication to ensure the child is achieving their short and long-term goals.
Occupational therapy can also be provided virtually via telemedicine. Virtual therapy is a great option for families in rural areas who may not have access to in-person services, or for families who prefer to have therapy in their child’s home.
Virtual OT allows the opportunity for increased caregiver participation and understanding of a child’s strengths, areas of improvement, and generalization of skills in the child’s home environment. Virtual therapy also provides increased opportunities for caregiver and family education to support the child and the family based on each family’s needs.
Once you find a quality physical therapist you want to work with, here are a few things you need to know:
There will be an evaluation. First, you can expect an assessment to identify your child’s areas of strength and needs. A physical therapy evaluation usually lasts 30 minutes.
You’ll review and approve the care plan. The physical therapist will create a care plan, also known as a plan of care (POC), outlining the goals and strategies. They will review this with you and your care team before moving forward with therapy sessions.
Physical therapy sessions will be fun. PT with children is designed to be enjoyable. The therapist will use strategies and exercises based on your child’s needs. Exercises might involve playing on large stability balls, obstacle courses, movement equipment, stretches, and other hands-on activities.
Expect home exercises. Physical therapists commonly assign exercises to work on at home. Doing these exercises with your child outside therapy sessions can improve your child’s overall progress.
Yes! Most providers offer physical therapy in their offices or a clinical setting, but many are offering at-home options. Virtual options have become more popular in recent years. You might facilitate care with the guidance of the physical therapist.
Pediatric physical therapy is considered safe and should not hurt. Autistic children spend their time in PT moving and exploring their environment. If you are concerned about your child experiencing pain during certain exercises, especially if they may struggle to communicate and advocate for modifications, speak with their physical therapist about your concerns.
The price of swim lessons can vary depending on where you live and what sort of program you decide to enroll your child in. A group lesson at a public pool may cost as little as $10 per lesson while a one-on-one lesson at a private pool may cost upwards of $100 per lesson.
Community centers often offer discounts to local residents, and most YMCAs offer sliding-scale fees based on your family’s household income. If you have more than one child, many swim programs offer discounts for enrolling siblings together.
