IICA Speech

My name is Amy Haught and I founded IICA Speech! Here’s a bit about our history and my passion. Born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio, I was lucky to have one of the best speech and language programs in my hometown! I graduated with a BS in Communication Disorders and then my MA in Speech Pathology with a minor in Audiology at the University of Cincinnati in 1995 after receiving a full academic scholarship. Before moving to the Bay Area, I started my career by working at 2 non-profit agencies (1 full time and 1 part time) in Cincinnati. My full time position in a United Way agency focused on serving pre-school children with special needs emphasizing intensive parent training and a language immersion classroom. My part time job was at Easter Seals serving school aged children in a summer speech program. I have been in private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1996.
