Wonderful. I did the outpatient program that met 3 nights a week after work and I highly recommend it to anyone who might be on the fence. It can be scary admitting that you might need some extra support during a hard time but you will be welcomed and comforted to know youre not alone and have skilled clinicians running the groups. Thank you everyone

I have been in program twice now and both have been a positive experience. I learned so much about myself while engaging in conversations to help me grown. The clinicians are always so supportive allowing the most optimal recovery for your treatment goals. Honestly I know nothing about the hospital itself but the clinicians and group leaders are top notch

I spent four weeks in the GAP PHP program at HRI Hospital via telehealth. The option for telehealth was extremely helpful for me as it allowed me to continue my childrens normal routine. The clinicians in groups were very knowledgeable and most encouraged interaction from both the virtual and in person members however some did a poor job of this especially one of the women who never stated her name at the beginning of the group. People would have their hands raised for extended periods of time without being acknowledged while in person members actively participated.Meeting with the nurse practitioner twice a week was extremely helpful. He helped me manage some side effects and also helped make a minor medication adjustment.I also met with an individual clinician during my time in the GAP program. This was great except at some stretches I went nearly 2 weeks without seeing him. I also wish there was more discharge planning support from the individual clinician in the days leading up to discharge including a formal discharge plan as I have received in the past from other programs.Overall it was a positive experience.

I TOLD them I wouldnt be there Friday and I missed today Monday bc of issues last night. But I. Anyway WAY TO REALLY HELP someone in beginning recovery by kicking them out of programs. Then you have to wait a month b4 u can go back. Wf

I am very appreciative of the help and support I received here everyone was very helpful and understanding. The tools and tips they shared with me were very helpful and like how they sent them to me that way I can always use them as a reference when needed. I like how the team here is very professional and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend

If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. Went to the inpatient unit here all the way back in 2016 while in college. I was depressed and undiagnosed bipolar at the time. Never had s.i before until after I was admitted here. My roommate stole my pillow the first night and staff ignored me when I told them. One day while being weighed by staff I noticed they wrote the wrong number down. I tried to correct them and they looked at me like I was an idiot and still put the wrong number down. The discharge paperwork says to utilize the skills you learned in the hospital during a crisis....no skills were taught or learned except to stay quiet and try to survive. Terrible place that should be shut down.

The Arbor GAP partial hospitalization program is a great fit for individuals who are having mental health issues but do not need an inpatient hospitalization. My experience has been very positive. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and supportive. My clinician and prescribing physician are very kind and caring. I feel very grateful to be part of this program.

Good. Changed since COVID times. Rules seen too relaxed- coming late for session leaving and returning same session phones not silenced talking over others are all small annoyances that interrupt the flow of the session. To enough time to share after presentation of session content. Clinicians are generally well versed on content they are presenting. The psychiatrist whom I have seen 3 times asks 2 questions How are you and is there anything I can do for you and then ends the conversation. Ive yet to see any value. The program is ok for what you can glean from the presentations.
