I can confirm what the last reviewer said about Howard County Recreation and parks and the racism in the workplace. As a Blk Man who used to work in the maintenance department for the park service I definitely endured open rcism in the workplace from my supervisor.I know other co-workers that have gone to human resources and spoken with them but it fell upon deaf ears. Its really sad to watch the county sit back and do nothing about it.

Disgraceful how the Farm Museum situation was handled. Whose palms got greased to destroy this valued county historical venue What cluttered shopping mall or million dollar home builder will reap the benefits from this loss to our community

Rec Parks and their so-called leadership should be ashamed of themselves for destroying the Living Farm Heritage Museum. You are a pathetic lot running a clown show.

The process behind the closure of the Heritage Farm Museum has been marred by a noticeable lack of transparency.

Incredibly disappointing how this county pays no mind to APFO and shame on you for tearing down the Farm Museum

What was done to the farm museum was criminal and the people responsible for this should be ashamed.

Shut down Rockburn branch bicycle skills park jumps because the community got sick of the lack of maintenance that was done there and took it in their own hands. Someone in the office deemed the place unsafe because the jumps were being cared for and maintained by someone that they werent paying.I doubt whoever made this call is even healthy enough to pedal more than two blocks without running out of breath. Thanks for killing the fun.

My daughter has attended many summer camps through Howard County Rec Parks. Each camp has been well organized and well run. The counselors are always awesome but this summer we were blown away by Ben Corey. His magic camp was the highlight of her summer. Were looking forward to all of the fun options next summer

Enrolled my little guy in DIY Fishing Archery Camp for his very first camp experience. He absolutely loved it At night it was the last thing he mentioned before going to sleep and the first thing out of his mouth in the morning Hes not always so enthusiastic right away so clearly camp counselors did a great job of engaging him. Absolutely first rate
