Melissa is the absolute best Our daughter was diagnosed with autism and was nonverbal. She doesnt feel comfortable around most people outside of her immediate family so were always nervous introducing someone new. We couldnt believe how quickly our daughter warmed up to Melissa It has been such a positive experience and our daughter has come so far with her speech. My twins LOVED Melissa Before we started our sessions with her they had zero interest in talking and we had no success on our own. Every time Melissa came to our house the kids would be so excited to see her and she was able to grab their interest through games and toys which made a huge differenceMelissa was very flexible when we needed to rearrange sessions on our end and she was always on time and very dependableI whole heartedly believe if it were not for Melissa our twins would still be struggling with their very basics of speech. Where do I even begin Melissa was with my daughter for almost 2 amazing years and what a perfect session she provided each time Ive always kid that she basically taught my daughter how to talk Deep down it really is true. Each session brought my daughter joy excitement to learn and especially no pressure. Melissa always stayed focused on client centered and let my daughter shine through her personality. Melissa has worked with my kids for the past couple years. She has an incredible gift of relating with children and making them comfortable with her. She is a pro at identifying and correcting any speech issues they have. My kids looked forward to their speech sessions because they had so much fun with her. Melissa incorporates games and activities while she has the child isolate the sound they need to work on. She is incredible at hearing the exact area of concern and figuring out how the child can position their mouth to correct it. She would explain her strategy to me so that I was always kept up to date on the progress of each of my kids. It was great to see their progression from week to week. I truly believe Melissa is one of the best speech therapists in the business.

Thank heaven I found Melissa. She was the biggest blessing of my life as a mom thus far. My daughter was 18 months old and was not even saying Mama. Melissa was so gentle with my fragile emotional state and taught my daughter and I both SO much We were with her for about a year. Its an absolute miracle we found Melissa because I needed her as badly as my daughter needed her. She is so knowledgeable and kind. I just cant say enough good things about my experience and now my daughter is three years old and I am trying to figure out ways to find quiet alone time because she talks A LOT hahah Thank you so much Melissa for helping my daughter find her voice and for helping me find my confidence again.

Melissa is awesome and anyone who has her as an SLP is lucky She was the first speech therapist for my daughter and we were fortunate to have her for 15 months. Although our sessions were virtual due to covid she connected greatly nonetheless with my child. I appreciated her flexibility during days we couldnt meet as we were able to do a phone call for updates and questions. She is easy to talk to provides so many tips and is in general a sweetheart I am forever grateful for her as she helped my daughter find her voice. We miss you Ms. Melissa
