I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois. I graduated from Aurora University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2003 and received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Social Work from Iowa State University in 1992. Currently, I am in a doctoral program working towards my Doctorate in Social Work. I have over 20 year’s experience, working with children, youth and adults experience a myriad of challenges. This includes crisis intervention, mental illness, relationships, substance abuse, transitions, therapy and grief & loss. I’ve also worked in medical social work as a dialysis social worker. I am a Certified Case Manager. (CCM) I have specific training in working with trauma. This includes training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. All of my interventions are trauma informed.
