The dental hygienist Carrie was awful. She got annoyed and made comments about an 8 year old getting multiple teeth pulled. She should not be working at a childs dentist. The dentist was amazing Ami she was comforting towards him and talked to him like a child. I would stay away just because of Carrie she was rude disrespectful and very unprofessional. Dont be a Carrie

Went to reschedule my 2 year olds cleaning the lady said they dont have any availability til April How that is even possible baffles me considering in the past weve never had an issue. They are not flexible or accommodating in any capacity for the well-being or care of their adolescent patients. Will be switching to another dentist in the meantime Do better.

I switched to Holdbrook dental from my kids first pediatric dentist and wow what a difference. Im so glad we made the switch. The place itself is clean and so fun and inviting for kids. The staff has always been extremely kind and friendly making me and my kids very comfortable. We have never had a long wait which I really appreciate and getting an appointment hasnt been an issue either. My kids literally love going here lol the prizes are their favorite part and for me its feeling like I can trust the dentists. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely unprofessional. The dentist had an emergency instead of asking me to reschedule she proceeded to do half of the fillings. Did not wait for the anesthesia to work so my daughter was crying the whole time and telling her she was in pain and the dentists response was I know sweetie I feel your pain almost done When my oldest daughter takes her in for the 2nd appointment to tell her what happened the only response is okay yeah. I speak to the assistant taking her back over the phone and again the same response. How much would it have cost to apologize on the dentists behalf or show some kind of sympathy considering it was their mistreatment of a patient

GO ELSEWHERE. Hygienist ruined my daughters teeth by being too rough with the scaling- she has soft enamel and now it is flaked off. Nightmare. All this happened despite me asking them to be careful while they made me wait outside. I blame myself. Dr H is nice but do yourself a favor and find a place that listens to caregivers and will allow you to be there if you or your child want.

DR. IS GREAT BUT SADLY I WILL NOT BE BACK I received an invoice for the first time from service that was rendered TWO YEARS ago on the MORNING of my childs last scheduled appointment11102023 via email I have never received an invoice nor was I advised at his last visit that there was even a balance on his account. When I called the billing office I was told that this was for a deductible for a visit in 2021 and 2022 I called my insurance and was told not to pay the invoice because it was incorrect due to the billing or lack of rather and the office should be following the guidelines of their contract with the insurance company Being in the medical billing field for nearly 14 years I agreed and tried explaining this to the front desk and billing department after they wouldnt accept the error and refused to see my child until payment was received in full.Ive waited MONTHS for this appointment but I refuse to pay a balance for something that I KNOW is incorrect Later that day I was able to listen to the conversation between my insurance and the office manager. The lack of professionalism was appalling and extremely offensive After reading the negative reviews it appears that I am not the only patient that was billed for a balance that the office is required by the state of NJ to write off per their contract with the insurance company.

This dentist used to be great but over the last year or two it has gone down the tubes quickly. Wait times are forever now and the last time I took my son we waited for an hour before just leaving and reschedulingcompletely wasted our time as they were obviously overbooked. To make matters even worse all three of my kids recent appointments were cancelled the day before due to unforeseen scheduling issues and these were appointments made months in advance. They didnt even have the courtesy to call and reschedule usjust a generic text and email that our appointment was cancelled and that WE should call and reschedule our kids. Ummm no thanksthats not how things work. If you cancel a visit its your job to follow up with me and make it right. This just tells me they are too busy to take care of their patients or they just dont careeither way my family will be headed elsewhere.

The dentists and assistants are awesome and sooo patient with the kids My son has autism and it really helps him to know how things work. His dental assistant took her time and explained everything to him and made him so comfortable Absolutely recommend.

Absolutely love this dental office I have been taking my kids here for years now. Everything is super clean which is a big deal for me. TVs in the waiting area play Disney movies. I always book my appointments for 8am right when they open and we are always out within 30 minutes max. Staff is always helpful and polite. Love the Lego branding.

Update Nov 2017 6 months after first visit Just went to the Cherry Hill Office for the first time since their move. Its super cute. They were very busy today with kids being out of school. I scheduled my sons appointment 6 months ago and didnt know it was a school holidayhe is 3. Lots of people waiting in the waiting room but I was called at my appointment time. More than likely since my son is young and didnt need anything else. I did have to fuss with a tablet to fill out new paperwork. I should have known to go early to a new location... plus my infant was crying so that didnt help my stress level. It was easy enough if she wasnt shrieking... anyway The dental assistant was the same as lady time and she was extremely nice and helpful. The dentist was also nice and quick. My son got stickers and little prizes and was so excited to see his new toothbrushtoothpastefloss etc. I debating finding a new dentist on the ride over since it was 25 minutes from my house but seeing the new building and having such a nice dental assistant staff really made me change my mind... he only goes so often and its worth it for the efforts theyve madeMy sons first dentist experience was amazing. My son just turned three and had never been to a dentist I was told at his annual dr appointment to go ahead and make an appointment with the dentist because he had chipped his tooth on his third birthday. I took him in and immediately they were nice and responsive the receptionist wasnt super super friendly but she was still nice. I think she was just busy. The toys in the waiting room were OK. They had the traditional ball on wire toys and several of them. They did have a train set but I didnt see a single train they couldve gotten swiped along the way but they do need to get a few more trains. I think I waited maybe five or so minutes after I handed in my sons paperwork. The dental assistant that cleaned my sons teeth with great with him and she worked with him from the start. She give him stickers showed him her gloves counted his fingers with her a little mirror and then counted his teeth. It really helped him relax and see that what she was doing was not going to hurt-- she just wanted to look at his teeth. She then tried to clean his teeth and didnt care if he didnt want to sit in the chair she just kind of went to him. When he didnt like the vibration of the toothbrush she switched to a plain kids toothbrush and finished brushing his teeth that way. They then did x-rays and work with him with their special camera he did so well for them and she worked with him really well to make fishy faces and bite down like different animals etc. It was a super smooth process. The dentist came in and did the same with him she worked with him to look at his teeth and made him feel comfortable. She then explained how they were going to smooth out his chipped tooth. They gave him a little prizes along the way and let him choose his toothbrush so he felt involved and he could earn coins for more prizes if he did certain things like getting his teeth cleaned and doing x-ray and getting his teeth smoothed. She had me help hold him down while they smoothed his tooth she went so quick and cheered him on along the way. She gave him sunglasses so the light wasnt in his eyes.It was just overall a super encouraging and pleasant experience.I went into today expecting my son to fight the whole way because he did not enjoy going to the doctors office last week but the way that the dental assistant and the dentist worked with my son made this such a better experience than it couldve been. Im so glad I chose to go with Holbrook and Im not thinking twice about driving out to Cherry Hill when they move this summer.
