Highland Community Learning Center

Ive been going to Highland for a year. I like the staff and the extra counseling I receive. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a good school.

Great school. Great staff. Would highly recommend to kids with behavioral issues.

This place is scary bad. My nephew started here and was exposed to so many inappropriate acts and unsupervised exposure to older students in school on the bus. He went from an average little kid wit h minor mental health issue then after time exposed to the environment here he behaves so inappropriate that he can no longer be around children his age andd the courts had to get involved here. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HEREFYI this school is ran by a family whos dad is the doctor and the owner.Under qualified staff with mixed age students and unsupervised

my children have been attending Highlands community learning center since it began. The teachers here are extremely devoted they take a lot of care and time with the children and helping them grow and learn by working with their individual needs.I am extremely grateful to have found this school for my two oldest children. I cant express enough how grateful I am.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL. my 7 year old was sent here due to behavioral issues and theyre suspending him once a week mind you he has an IEP for this situation. They took it upon themselves to call a car got my son without my consent and sent him off. My son gets sent to daycare everyday after school its like n their system. Instead they dropped my son off at my house with nobody there and left him for 30 mins by himself. Principle was not worried about it had no remorse. Now we had to get cps and the police involved for a lawsuit. Please dont send your kids here if you truly care about them. My son will be leaving this soon asap

I went to this school for my whole highschool year its honestly a really good school nice teachers too there to help

The school is okay I rate it a 610.Walls need painted and cleaner toilets but the staff is mid a great school to go. had a great Walk through when showed the school.Best class is science because you learn a lot of useful stuff. like you dont use other stuff learnd from other classes when youre an adult.Get a lot more help and they actually care for one anotheralso lots support.Its hard a hard job to work and they was on the news for being really good. the boss man is really great and hard working.

I would highly recommend Highland Community Learning Center. The staff are amazing and care very much about the students The Mettle Services piece of Highland deals with providing mental health services to the students is absolutely wonderful The services are individualized to meet the needs of each student based on their IEP and educational assessments. Sending your student to Highland Community Learning Center would have a great impact on them and give them the tools that they need to succeed

This school has a great learning environment. I have made a lot of friends. The teachers are very nice. My grades have gone from failing to passing in a couple months.

I went there for my high school 2012-2016 and I didnt learn much academic wise. It did help me with my severe social anxiety but there were a lot of incidences I was involved with that were never addressed. I had a teacher tell me to my face I was his least favorite student. He no longer works there but not because he was fired. Students werent watched over as much as they should have been. The only real time I saw disciplinary action was when a student was expelled due to a threat made towards another student. I would not recommend sending your child here if you want academic learning.
