My son is taking part of the early intervention currently. He is getting speech therapy. In as little as 3 months he has learned 30 words and pronounces them clearly and understands what they mean. I can easily understand him now and he has no problem communicating and playing with his older cousins. I have to admit that I didnt believe the entire program would work this way but Im so stunned about the results and I completely love it My daughter who is a year and five month is also learning so much from the teacher that comes to our home she is not taking part in the program. The entire family is included in every session and the child that is getting help never feels uncomfortable. I highly recommend this to every parent who is thinking about getting an evaluation You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I believe the evaluation is free depending on your income and so are the services. Ive never have people so committed to help my child. Communicating with his teachers is so easy and theyre so nice as well. I was fortunate enough to get both a male and a female not at the same time to help my son out something I really wanted because I believed my son was intimidated by other men and he wouldnt communicate as much. But now hes so confident and he acts like hes 5 years old. Hes speaking way more hes using gestures to get what he wants. Its amazing. If youre thinking about the program just give them a call even if youre child doesnt need it its better to find out sooner than later.
