What a difference a year makes. Last year my son with asd adhd and a speech and language learning disability started to see Matt. One year later my son is more communicative and Matt is helping him to strengthen all areas of weakness. Matts eagerness to help uncover my sons obstacles which occur in school and out has helped him be better regulated. Matt is an amazingly talented slp.

We found Matthew thanks to the glowing reviews on Google and we are very thankful that our son was able to work with him for a few months. He was always happy to go to speech therapy and was very motivated to improve his speech and we did see real progress. We feel immensely fortunate to have found Matthew and strongly recommend him for any child with speech and language delays. Matthew worked with both of our children with very different profiles and needs one child is autistic and had expressive receptive and social pragmatic language delays the other barely had any words before 2yo and speechmotor planningarticulation delays. Matthew used completely different methods to engage them and their improvement was immediate and startling.Matthew has extensive experience with autistic children of all different profiles and is very warm patient and engaging. He always took time to answer our questions in person and over email giving thoughtful detailed answers. He advocated for us asking for more services from the DOE without ever asking for payment for his time. Although we appreciated his expertise and skill with our children what most impressed us is that we knew he truly believes his work is a calling and wants all his students to succeed.Our younger child after working with Matthew for a year had a language explosion and caught up to his peers in expressive and receptive speech but we kept bringing him to sessions since he LOVED going it was the highlight of his week.We cannot recommend him more highly. We feel absurdly lucky that we found this practice. Our therapist there Matthew is both naturally talented at connecting with children and incredibly knowledgableits clear he keeps up to date on the latest research and our son has greatly benefited from his care. Hes also just a very nice guy every single family in need of an SLP deserves to find a therapist like him

My son has worked with Matthew over the year and he is amazing. I have seen such an improvement in my sons speech and processing. He is patient kind and connects with my son. My son looks forward to speech every week.Matthew is able to pinpoint areas that need improvement and use exercises to strengthen. I have been so impressed how my son has progressed from week to week.Due to the pandemic we have only done video meetings and Matthew has a great platform that uses lots of APPs and programs that keep my 6 year old engaged...which is no easy feat.Thankful for Matthew and his skills. Matthew did a fantastic job with my son and really helped him improve with his L and R sounds. Matthew is very patient and incorporates fun games into the therapy sessions. He also handled all of the paperwork with my insurance for session authorization. I would highly reccomend Matthew and HearThinkTalk.

Im grateful for Matthew and his team beyond what I could fit on this review. My son is an autistic 4 year old with strong speech delays. When we first came to Matthews office my son had almost no words on his vocabulary and wasnt able to communicate.. After a couple of months we started to see the improvements. Now he has a lot a words and even phrases He is able to request things and his communication skills are getting better everyday. The best of all is that my son loves Matthew and is always looking forward to go to his session. Also Matthew has an answer and recommendation for every question we have. We feel really lucky to have him helping Daniel.

Matthew is the best. He was able to work with my son correct his speech. He was patient and kind with him. He took the time to keep him engage and learned his interests. He was also very flexible with our schedules. Always kept us in the loop. He was always available to help. My son had a presentation at school and as you can imagine for a 4th grader that can be overwhelming. Matt quickly offered to listen to his presentation if needed. Not everyone would do such a thing but as always Matt was there to encourage my son. He was very sad when he realized that the sessions were over because Matt wasnt just his therapist. My family cannot say enough about Matt Masiello and what he has done for our son and our family as a whole.Not only did he give our child successful therapy he did it with passion and a genuine interest improving our sons life.We came to Matt with very shy quiet and frustrated 2.5 year-old. Our communication at this point was combination of maybe 15 single words real and made up along with a lot of tantrums and frustration.We now have confident happy nonstop talking 4 year old.Our son took to Matt immediately and looked forward to working with him. Matt gets right down with your child and engages them to work using their interests and play. There is no better way to engage a frustrated toddlerIn the year and half that we have been working with Matt there has never been a session our son was not excited to go to. And never a session where Matt did not spend time speaking to me or my husband about what he was doing and asking about what was going on at home. He always offered us tips and exercises to help our son and was available for a phone call for touching base any time.Matt went to our sons school to observe him and get to know his teachers. He communicated with them and gave them an opportunity to reach out to him whenever needed.When we enlisted a secondary therapist for in the classroom setting Matt again created an open line of communication between the two of them.If you are looking for success in a supportive evolved environment this is it Matt goes above and beyond for his patients. He is still checking in with us and we are so grateful to have found him and for what he has done for us

Mr. Masiello is an excellent speech therapist who helped my daughter correct her speech. He was patient and kind with her and geared activities and games to her interests. He was responsive to both mine and my daughters requests and always gave constructive feedback and recommendations on what to work on in between sessions. He was also very flexible with our varied schedules. I highly recommend Hear Think Talk for your childs speech therapy
