About Hayes Institute of Pediatric Development LLC
Hi, I’m Shajuana Hayes, founder of HIPD. I have worked in the behavioral and mental health field since 2017, supporting children and young adults ages 2–20 with autism, ADHD, ODD, and other developmental and behavioral needs. My background includes ABA, mental health counseling, CPS case management, behavioral health supervision, staff and parent training, and clinical leadership across home, school, community, and clinical settings. I hold a B.S. in Sociology with a minor in Criminology, an M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis, and certificates in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Cultural Diversity. I founded HIPD with a commitment to providing compassionate, individualized, evidence-based care that looks beyond behavior to the whole child. Our mission is to help children build meaningful communication, independence, social and everyday life skills so they can learn, grow, and thrive at home and beyond.
