This company pays their ads the lowest in the area 11 an hour and its 2024. Fast food workers make more than that. Theres no way your loved one will receive good care from here. Its surprising theyre even in business. All the reviews are very similar....dissatisfied clients and disgruntled employees. People should know how much they are paying their workers with no benefits while they pocket the rest of the insurance money apparently. Also they are on Indeed right now advertising that pay and many people attest to that so anything else is B.S.

We need 8 hours a da7 days a week. Easy job. Tired of feeling like were the bad ones for our hours. Tired of feeling like were the bad guys because we dont appreciate the aide sleeping most of the day. Weve only had the required 8 hours a day a few days. Most of the time the aides leave early.

I worked with this company for a short period of time and it was terrible. I only had a couple of patients and each one of them complained to me about the lack of care they had been given. They allow patients to go without care because they take on more patients then they have aides to work. They would also change my schedule without telling me. I do not recommend this place for work or for care. Ive never seen a home health care agency so unorganized and disregard care for their clients.

DO NOT GO HERE THE PAPER SAYS REFUND BEFORE CLASS STARTS AND THEY ARE TRYING TO SAY THERE IS NO REFUND. I went to go apply for the class and the lady who helped me clearly I know seen my nose ring. But did not say anything. This company does not allow face piercings. People can get over that. It is my body and if Im doing my job it should not matter what I choose to look like. BUT THE PAPER SAYS REFUNDS BEFORE THE CLASS STARTS. I can file a police report and I would if they try to act like they didnt put that. I was warned before I came here but I drove an hour out of the way to take this seriously. And the lady cant even be professional enough to say something. This is why there are so many PCACNA companies. They need better communication and actually care about the employees.

worked here twice the 1st year I was a companion aide for one year smh the gave me all bad cases when you get hired as a companion aide be sure to realize theyre gonna give you the cases NO ONE ELSE WANTS second year I became a pca went okay then literally place you any where and dont care all in all if you wanna level up your job status I recommend taking the pca class if youre not already a pca ...

Some caregivers not professional at all very argumentative. Will not wear gloves after being told many times that they are preferred. Will have to terminate relationship my health condition is not being taking seriously.

Hand n Heart hires criminals. I feel confident to leave this review now because I no longer fear for my mothers safety now that she is deceased. Jennifer Denney stole money and valuables from my mother when she was her aide.

Staff EXTRA rude Was told to go get scrubs after i told them my size. They told me to come after my shift good thing i called again they didnt even bother to check for my size. I would have made a trip for nothing. I had previously called out because i was told scrubs were mandatory and not to show up in street clothes. So they call me back after ive already made arrangements to run some errands. I agreed i would come in but let them know it will take some time. I was in suffolk and the client was in VA Beach by the oceanfront. Why did i get 7 calls from 2 different ppl about why it would take me so long. I explained for the 6th time what was going on. And the girl that fakes a preppy slow voice was soooo nasty. Communication is trash. Promised a sign on bonus heard nothing else of it. When asked i was given the run around. I feel so bad for my client but I may need to resign.

The bonus on indeed are false advertisement. They dont give all employees direct deposit because its a luxury not a need okay so what about the people who have to wait the 2-3 days for the check to deposit and have bills. Also most of the reviews that are 5 stars are employees that earn the most money. And they agree in the beginning about if you start working for another company that they can send it over to them that you took your PCA class its false. Also they should still be able to send it over cuz thats what I was told my Human Resources from other companies and from Sentara. Always pay the 200 or just pay the 100 and then once you get ur first pay check pay the 100 and get out its the worst company by far

In order for me to comment I had to give this agency a star....but if it was up to me they would get no stars.The WORST AGENCY EVER....Always short staff...

This company is not reliable. On numerous occasions no one has shown up for the scheduled shift and we were not notified. Families rely on someone to help...
