Hamza Mohsen MD Neurology Center Adults & Children

Writing this review a year late. Dr. Hamza did not take time to explain to me thoroughly his thoughts or findings and kept me wondering on the side what was going on. He would not take time with the sessions I had with him I felt rushed when asking questions. He also was not the friendliest which I dont necessarily need but communication was not the best. I was seeing them weekly for electro-therapy until they said they dont have physical therapists available and they would call me when they do. They never called me back. My primary care doctor was calling them for 6 months to get my test results sent over to them but there was no luck so I have yet to know what all the testing showed. My primary care doctor was getting frustrated contacting them so I also tried calling 3 times asking for them myself so that I can show my primary care doctor but the receptionist never emailed them to me. I gave up after the year was done and I got all that testing done in Jan-Mar 2022. Im still paying the bills for testing I never got results for. I will say that the testing nurses the people running the tests not sure what the proper name is for them were very kind and explained everything very well made sure you were comfortable. They were the only thing about this office that were worth it.

I am a lawyer.Years ago I went to see Dr. Hamza with a medical issue which was affecting my best work as an attorney. During one of my follow-up visits I happened to mention in passing an extreme non-medical life situation I was going through that had me stuck and immobilized. Although very busy Dr. Hamza sat there and listened for an extended period of time engaged asking questions and making suggestions. He was interested and empathetic and none of this had to do with medicine.Thereafter on subsequent visits he would always ask me about my life situation and he kept up on developments. Dr. Hamza is now more than my doctor he is my friend. If you want a medical provider who will treat you as a whole person rather than a medical chart I highly recommend Mohsen Hamza.

This is the best medical facility Ive ever experienced. As a lifetime Los Angeles resident in the area I suffered an accident and did not know where to go. The collaboration caring for patients is at its highest and it starts from the top and reflects towards the whole staff. If medical offices and staff need a mold for quality care they should look no further than here. Theyre are amazing Look no further youve come to the right place.

Amazing doctor. Very thorough and youll never feel ignored.First of all the facility has everything. Every visit thered be a new room I didnt know existed with specific equipment and specialized staff like for physical therapy. They really thought of everything that closely ties together and put it there.At first I really thought everything recommended was random and possibly wrong but in the end it all tied together in ways I didnt realize at the time and looking back at it it makes sense because the path he took testing he did and what he prescribed essentially fit some other issue I had which I thought he did not specialize in and it ended up being related which is kind of magical since I didnt even think about or mention to him.Im glad I kept visiting instead of giving up. An important part was Dr. Hamzas willingness to also try the things I wanted even though he understood it was not necessary as Im sure he realized it would put my mind at ease and help me really focus on what did matter by process of elimination.Its also very obvious that he genuinely cares about his patients. That level of empathy is very rare to find and extremely important especially for a neurologist and he clearly sees everything through your eyes.Someone mentioned a lack of structure and lots of back and forth in the office. While I understand what they meant I think it just comes with the territory as I mentioned earlier the facility has a lot of moving cogs the closest thing Ive seen to a hospital so it does feel a little weird but once you think about it itd be impossible to keep all the benefits of a mini hospital without having some of the issues that come along with that.One thing thats important to know and I believe this is what resulted in one of the negative reviews hes not the one visit type of doctor. He clearly wants to make sure he understands whats going on and for that youll need to trust him and expect multiple visits. But once hes done hes done and doesnt schedule unnecessary follow-ups. So probably dont go here if you already had some other neurologist or doctor do something and expect him to just pick up where they left off without any testing if he feels its necessary for him to provide care.And finally some negative reviews about being unresponsive to emails or communication issue those do exist but hes an excellent neurologist not an excellent secretary.

Dr. Hamza has been my neurologist for a few years now. Quality medical care regular testing all done mainly In his office. Takes construction and listens to you. Full service neurologist with a friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Dr. Hamza is extreme personable and his staff was amazing. My partner and I were in a car accident together and this office was extremely accommodating allowing us to come in at the same time with our infant son. Extremely friendly staff and very nice office Would recommend it to anyone

Ill start this my saying Mohsen Hamza seemed like a nice guy and Im no scientist so he may well be very credentialed but my review reflects my overall experience.The first time I visited I got charged an on the spot fee of 350 in order to see Dr Hamza which consisted of a brief 30 minute conversation and an in house test which I still to this day dont know what that was for.I came in because I snore and it annoys my wife. I was told I could have sleep apnea but provided no other information about what may cause my snoring. For context Im a fit guy in my early 30s.I then came in for a sleep study I was wired up by a random dude who hardly seemed to know what he was doing he couldnt tell me anything about the test and was wearing civilian clothes. I was then left to sleep on my back in a position that was unnatural and bound to cause me to breath badly.A week or two went by and I asked to see my results but they required an in office visit which again came with costs. I asked if I could have a call instead or have them send me the results or Id come in and collect them.After getting no response I then got a call from a company trying to sell me a Cpap machine on a subscription. I turned it down having had no follow up care or any idea what was causing my snoring.Then months after going in for the sleep exam I was sent another sizable bill for the test which again seemed very rudimentary and unscientific. As far as I know I was put in a shower cap and left to have a bad night sleep.I dont want to come across bitter it certainly seems that others have had better experiences. But for me it cost me a lot of money to find out nothing.

Dr. Hamza has been diligent in finding my relief for my issues. He was truly concerned when he first met me. I am confident in his abilities. The staff is super friendly and completely professional.

Dr. Hamza was my Mother-in-law Neurologist for more that 10 years. Through all those years he treated her with Alzheimers and Parkinsons disease. Thanks to Dr. Hamza. We enjoyed her for so many years. We will always be in debt to Dr. Hamza for his dedication and care for my Mother-in-laws health.

The entire staff in this office and Dr. Hamza are great. Testing is thorough and Dr. Hamza is extremely patient. My father has been seeing him for the last 6 months and we have been very impressed and satisfied with his treatment
