I only started working with Great Strides about a year ago and there are many things I dislike about the ranch. For one there is a hierarchy when it comes to volunteers wranglers and instructors. You either mportant because you work there and teach or are just there to help out. Although Ive stood there for 2 hours doing nothing because they dont allow me to get the horses or put them back in their stalls for safety reasons but even if I follow the rules Im still sstanding ut there doing nothing and the wranglers are doing most of the work or take over. Also many times there is NO schedule ste out for the volunteers to see what is supposed to be going on that day because it isnt printedand ready.F

Absolutely LOVE Great Strides Always clean grounds bathrooms friendly caring staff. To really see the 3rd punic side of horses up close and personal is unbelievable My son has learned patience in waiting.trying to fit in being bullied in public school after transitioning from Christian schoolThey have calmed his anxiety and have even more so given him more confidence in himselfThey had a SPECTACULAR Chinese auction with dinner drink dessert coffee line dancing 5050 raffle last year Unfortunately this year due to Covid There were no plans for a gathering socially. Just for the record I have no connection to Great Strides other then my son taking lessons for 2 seasons. He even skipped a season and when he went back he had forgotten things and Claire called him out on it and they didnt miss a beat. She broke his chops and they caught right backup where they left off LolThe trainers work therapeutically with all children through adults with all kinds of needs. Anyone who enjoys horseback riding and OUR American Veterans with PTSD. They are really just starting now to bring awareness to mental illness. And now with Covid and quarantine more people are starting with the effects of mental illness. So before we start pumping our children with medications get them out of the house and away from video games and try some therapy with horses. They also have goats pigs rabbits and a donkey.Making my donation tonight Maybe help make up forx CA.

I recently had my kids birthday here and it was a fantastic experience It was the most affordable riding experience in the area. Not only did the kiddos get to ride horses but they also got to meet and feed all of the farm animals donkey rabbits etc. hold small animals rabbits turtles and do an arts and crafts activity Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff is wonderful and Julie the owner is so easy to communicate with. Arranging the party was a breeze.

I will recommend Great Strides horseback riding. In fact my daughter listen and follow directions I think other children especially with different abilities will learn to communicate and follow directions. Horse back riding is very therapeutic for children with all abilities. The employees of Great Stride is caring and understand the individual needs. Emily is great with my daughter will recommend them.
