Great Prospects

My son has been attending Great Prospects for over 2 years since we moved to Georgia. He absolutely loves going here and wakes up each day ready to go. There is a great wide range of activities from field trips nature walks going to the movies and bowling coupled with great life skills training. The staff is warm and loving and were thrilled with the program

My daughter has been attending Great Prospects 3 days a week since she aged out of school in January. She loves going there and enjoys the various activities and trips they plan for their participants weekly. I love this program because they keep our young adults very active. They go out and explore daily - may it be walking by the river on the track or in the park. They also have weekly fitness class yoga class and monthly music therapy as well as field trips and fun events that she enjoys. Their monthly dance event is something our daughter looks forward to. I highly recommend this adult day program.

My daughter has attended Great Prospects for years. She is always eager to get ready every morning to head to Great Prospects and see her friends. I looked long and hard to find just the right program for my daughter. Our family is truly blessed to have our daughter registered at Great Prospects. The programming is exceptional. The participants engage in a variety of activities in the community and are always learning new skills. The leadership and staff are passionate about helping our children achieve their potential

Great Prospects changed our lives as a family. When our daughter aged out of the school system in early 2020 we had a hard time finding suitable programs to meet her needs of our daughter now an adult with disabilities.. We found Great Prospects through a friend. Since attending GP our daughter is thriving. She loves getting up and getting ready each day she attends. She has made friends and I can see improvements in her physical stamina flexibility daily living skills and behavioral struggles. We are very thankful to have stumbled upon this amazing place

My son loves Great Prospects. As someone who had a difficult time during the pandemic its nice to see how happy he is to go to GP. He generally has a hard time meeting people and making friends and has so many Great Prospects. The staff thoroughly understands the population they serve which was a big relief for parents of an often misunderstood person. I would recommend the program to any parent of a special needs adult.

My daughter has been going to Great Prospects for 7 years. She has made so many wonderful friends - enjoyed the outings - activities - self help skills - learning and lots of laughter Without Great Prospects she would be sitting home and just looking at her Ipad or DVDs all day. The GP teachers and volunteers have been wonderful.

Great Prospects is a fantastic experienced group of caring individuals who have given my son a place to enjoy with peers when he was out from school. Now that he has graduated like the kids who go to UGA or GT TJ is going to Great Prospects. He loves the other students and the daily fun learning activities Just a great place

I love this organization Out of all the day programs I have worked with as a Music Therapist GP is the best Their staff is caring helpful and young adults in this program build great relationships with each other. MT groups with Great Prospects always brighten my day and Im so glad its a service theyve chosen to provide for their group
