Great Mines Health Ctr - Farmington

Went in for an emergency visit because of pain in multiple teeth and it was absolutely the most dismissive medical visit Ive ever experienced. Reception told us an emergency constituted any ongoing pain or something that interfered with eating or sleeping so I scheduled because it is. The dentist examined the teeth and refused further treatment. For 34 of the teeth there truly was nothing he could do the other tooth has a painful cavity something they said was an emergency and they refused to do anything about it. I called back later to clarify what constituted an emergency. The receptionist told me again that a painful cavity was an emergency then backtracked as soon as I said I had exactly that and was refused treatment.Now the story is they cant tell you if its an emergency. If you schedule an emergency visit here dont count on them helping you. If you really want help fake more pain than you have because they wont treat you until its severe enough.This entire process was made worse by the dentist Kevin Fallert being evasive non-communicative dismissive and running out of the room. While were talking he says Im going to get a referral runs out before I can say anything and never returns. Avoid Kevin Fallert and this office if at all possible. Unfortunately that isnt possible for many something this office seems to know. Just dont get Kevin if you must go.

I have been taking my son to see Ashley since he was about 5 months old and he is now 2 she is by far the best pediatrician. No matter the issue she always addresses it and listens to our concerns. I wouldnt take him anywhere else

They were great I had Kevin fallert and he had my teeth out with in a hour and over the last 19 years I have had 3 teeth pulled and never went back till I seen Kevin he is great and fast I would recommend himOne of the best dentist in the world he is that good because of him Im not terrified to go to the dentist no more and he will be doing any dental problems I may have in the future because of him am finally pain-free I had bad teeth prob for 19 years and because of Kevin I dont have to go through the restless nights anymore thanks Kevin fallert

Had an appointment scheduled 3 times and they cancelled my appointment a few days before the appointment. Never got to see anyone. Do not recommend

I had a horrible experience the dentist was very abrupt no sense of compassion or empathy treated me like I did not matter I would not recommend this dentist When I tried toke a complaint voice my concerns they recommended that I seek a different dentist at a different facility instead of taking any accountability again definitely would not recommend this dentist especially if you have dental complications

had to make an emergency dental appointment with them due to an extremely painful tooth. they got me in fast and they were so kind. i have a lot of anxiety about the dentist and they were nothing but sweet understanding and patient the entire time. i felt listened to for the first time at a dental office. absolutely recommend.

I called to see if they took my insurance. The lady was vary rude and said she couldnt check until the day before. The day before is 2 months out. So in The meantime Im supposed to wait until the day before and then find out that they dont take it.My insurance says on the internet that they do but she never heard of it. Was not helpful in anyway. Different place I called got right on it and checked for me. I called back a different day an talked with the Manager and she was happy to look up the insurance for me right away.

Have a dental emergency my entire right side is swollen cant eat anything and alot of pain. Was told had to wait a month to be seen

I have taken my 15 year old daughter to the dentist at Great Mines for over a year and have had nothing but positive experiences. They get her in fast are all pleasant to talk to and Haley loves the dentist. He makes her laugh all the time. So far I love them

They say you get what you pay for. Well in this case I didnt even get that Our 3 year old needs dental work and we are new to the state. I took her in to have her examined. She ended up needing complete sedation surgery. When I scheduled her Shawna front desk receptionist was difficult to work with. Was more concerned about us having or not having medicaid than about meeting our daughters needs. Even when I assured her we would pay cash for her surgery. The appointment was made and then began a 1 month waiting process. Our daughter asks daily when she can go to the dentist and get her teeth fixed. Finally we are 5 days away from surgery. I received a phone call with out a message being left. When I called the unlisted number back I found out it was Great Mines. It was then I was informed they had tried to contact me for two weeks Shawna said she had left 4 messages and then she said she had called me for two weeks. Somehow she didnt have my email or an alternate number.. Why didnt she ask for my husbands So since she couldnt reach me.. Five minutes before she had canceled my daughters appointment. And already placed someone else in the time slot. After 1 month of waiting with my baby in pain and having to eat only soft foods. After 1 month of hearing her cry out in pain. When I spoke with the manager she was very professional.... About telling me my daughter could go ahead and wait another month for surgery. I would strongly recommend that you look into another place for your dental needs. This place needs to change their scheduling and cancellation policies.
