Grayson and Associates - Riverchase Office

I hate to give this place even 1 star. I have never experienced such rude behavior from a professional business. Michelle at the call center was hateful. I listened to her on speaker phone talking with my friend who was trying to get a call back regarding prescriptions that were never called in. She actually just quit talking and when my friend said hello to make sure she was still there Michelle said I was hoping you would hang up. Its unbelievable to me that a professional doctors office would allow such. Thankfully my friend is currently looking to change doctors. Nobody deserves to be treated so hateful especially patients with mental health issues.

I have received good medical service from Grayson Associates. A few years ago the non-medical staff were rude and always seemed bored and would greet you in a manner that made you feel unwelcomed. But changes must have been made probably due to reviews and complaints and now they are friendly smiling and welcoming. The medical staff are the best Ive ever dealt No names here but I sincerely thank those that take care of me God Bless you

Terrible. I recently had an issue where Grayson didnt even correctly file my insurance and tried to send me an erroneous bill. Fast forward to today and an apparent balance from last December which I was never made aware of even existed was sent to a collection agency from 7 months ago. I was never billed contacted or made aware of this until now and its not even a correct balance Enter at your own risk.

I have been really disappointed by this location. I am going to try another office but not sure I will be able to stay with them.You never get a reminder email text or call- youre dealing with people having mental health issues perhaps find the time to send reminders. My dentist sends reminders. Do better.Agreed that the staff is absolutely or miss. Ive had 2 nice people the rest fairly rude. I would guess overworked and understaffed. They just dont care. You are a patient not a person.Ive also had billing issues. Ive paid my co pay every time and last visit was told I had a balance I called my insurance they said it was not billed correctly and told me what to convey. I spoke with the billing office sent three emails trying to get it worked out just kept getting bills emailed. When I finally got a person they said it was billed correctly called my insurance back they said no...emailed and asked to have a conference call with the billing dept and my insurance - was sent another bill. I finally paid bc I am not allowed to make an appointment at the other office when there is a balance. I was hit by an 18 wheeler dec 1st and have reached out for appointments with no follow up.My last appt was 20 min. I was having a harder time bc it was the one year anniversary of my fathers death. The doc said people die every day. That is absolutely NOT what I am looking for in a mental health doctor. Ignored everything else I said and suggested if my anxiety was that bad I needed to go to the hospital a sleep specialist ECT. Or I could go to a doc who listens and doesnt gas light patients. I will absolutely not be back at the river chase location.Will update if anyone ever calls me back for an appointment in trussville.

Grayson and associates is one of the worst mental health facilities Ive ever visited. The receptionists are rude. The doctors rush you in and out and dont take time to listen to your needs. They couldnt care less about whats going on in your life. They waste your time and bring you all the way in the office to tell you they wont write you a prescription when they could have just said something over the phone. I do not recommend this place. Its gotten worse and worse over the years. Go anywhere else that actually cares about you

I would give this practice negative stars if I could. Not only does my husbands medicine never get called in correctly when you call to try to get help with having them transferred or the actual correct medications called in the receptionists are rude and condescending. They also hang up on you after putting you on hold and dont get the office manager when you ask for one. Apparently there is an offsite answering service that all calls go to so you cant speak to someone at the office that the patient goes to. I asked to have a message sent to my husbands doctor telling him that he only called in half of the medications needed for refill and that that they needed to be called in to a new pharmacy. When I called back I was told only part of the message had been sent and when I asked to have the second message read back to me I was put on hold and then the call was disconnected. We will be lucky if he has his medication by the end of the week. They are medically negligent and I will be filing a report with the BBB.

I really love my NP and therapist at Grayson 100 concourse location however the off site receptionist that answers for all locations is horrible. I have called several times needing to get in touch with the 100 Concourse office and I am never able to be transferred over because I get a hard no or some other BS from the receptionist. Also medication refills are impossible. I asked the receptionist to transfer me to my office and she told me I had to leave a message on the prescription refill line. I did and I never got my medicine filled. Grayson I can only speak for the 100 Concourse location and I love my providers - but PLEASE consider getting someone new to answer the phones.

Uncaring unprofessional and will probably get someone seriously hurt one day. Everything is managed thru their call center and those people are rude and DO NOT CARE. Out of meds oh well maybe a Dr will call you. Suddenly have a balance no Dr visits till paid in full and no payment arrangements. And they will cancel your appointment without telling you if you have a balance even though they dont mail out statements which is insane in our High Deductible health care system.

Terrible I have been going here for about 4 years now. My doctor does not care about me I tell him I need help and he does NOTHING I told him I have nightmares and trouble sleeping years ago when I first started going and he puts me on a medication that causes NIGHT MARES AN RESTLESSNESS. The staff is rude and they do NOT care about people with mental health issues. They have made my anxiety sky rocket with the way they speak to me Not to forget sitting on hold for HOURS. You guys claim to help people like me but do you see all of these reviews You are TERRIBLE. More like negative 5 stars. My doctor should not even be a doctor.

Ive been going to Grayson and Associates for a couple months now and the licensed mental health provider is excellent. HOWEVER when I wanted to request to alter my medication the receptionist was extremely rude. She laughed at me for not being able to explain my situation properly and even suggested I take another form of medication and dose which almost seems like a violation of some sort of medical policy or code. I talked to the supervisor who then said she would take the complaint into consideration and offered no further information. They were absolutely rude and made me feel stupid. If you could somehow not go through the receptionist to get through to see a mental health provider I would recommend them.
