Grayson and Associates - Homewood Office

Son is a patient at Grayson and Associates. Because he works in a very loud machine oriented environment I try to do as much legwork as possible for him. His wife passed away recently and he has a small child. I have been trying to get him an appt for over 2 weeks. Ive explained the situation to the receptionist and she says theres nothing she can do but send it to intake and they will contact him within 48 hrs. Ive also given my name and phone number as a back up. Ive called 3 times in past two weeks giving them ample time to respond. Nothing. Not a word. If you value your mental health please go somewhere else.

Absolutely impossible to get in touch with anyone. So if you have to cancel appointment just go ahead and assume you will have to pay a no show fee. Every time you call the front desk will treat you like you are an inconvenience to them and be so incredibly rude that I cannot imagine how they still have a job. I have run medical clinics before and the operations of this one are DEPLORABLE.

I went here in college Dr. Thomas put me on and took me off of medications cold Turkey.The front staff and the staff that answers the phone are completely unwilling to help patients.I have been requesting my records be sent to my new psychiatrist for 3 weeks - finally got through to someone and she said that it could take up to 30 days simply to RECEIVE my records request.Make that make sense

The psychological care and therapy are great however this gets overshadowed by an extremely frustrating billing department. We are constantly sent notices to pay bills that have been paid even when weve provided evidence they were paid. In addition none of the billing phone numbers will connect. Each one disconnects And you cannot speak with anybody. I cannot recommend because of the stress involved with the billing department.

Dr.Ary is terrible. If you are scheduled with her I recommend you cancel the appointment and see someone else. My husband seen her yesterday and it was the worst psychiatrist visit of his life. She took him off of medications cold turkey one that has severe withdrawals and showed no compassions to why he was there. She also refuses to fill out any paperwork or back to work release forms so now my husband is unable to return to work and unable to support his growing family of 3because in her exact words she does not fill out paperwork she is the most unprofessional Dr he has ever seen and the rudest. 010. Do not waste your time with her please.

ive called this place SEVERAL times with no response. im talking like 10 times. its ALWAYS a machine and ive left several messages which have also never been responded to. i cant get an appointment with my psychiatrist Jessica Adwell no matter what i try. ive sent her multiple messages through the patient portal that she has also never acknowledged or responded to. ive tried getting my meds refilled and they wont do that either. every prescription ive been prescribed either hasnt worked or has given me terrible side effects which leads me to believe that the doctors here have no clue what theyre doing. i have a known thyroid issue and i was prescribed lithium anyways which clearly exacerbated the thyroid issues. they claim to have telehealth options which i signed up for but once i signed up for telehealth i was never able to get an appointment again. this place is abysmal and you should NEVER resort to this place for psychiatric care.

I wish I could review Dr. Moises services but I showed up at 140 for a 215 appointment waited for over an hour then after checking in with a receptionist for the third time and having the same doctors and nurses walk past us for 80 minutes was told that we were skipped because we were on the wrong side of the waiting room. Unbelievable. I wish I had been given directions on where to sit upon arrival. The staff didnt even apologize whatsoever. Now I have to take my son out of school for a second day in a row and take time off of work to hopefully be seen tomorrow. At least Ill know what side of the room to sit on this time

Good luck getting started. I have multiple phone calls and email inquiries into this place. The woman taking calls is rude and unwilling to help. Says someone will call me but the never do. Pretty sure she has made sure I dont get a call back. Theres no way around her. I found another provider and anyone reading this should too. Happy hunting dont waste your time here.

I was scheduled to see Dr. Moise for my first appointment I do not sleep well at night and took my medicine that helps me sleep overslept missed the appointment called and explain what good did that do was told I could not reschedule an appointment with Moise do to me missing my 1st appointment with her now mind you the appointment was rescheduled do to the doctor not being available on the previous appointment set I was told someone would call me back to reschedule with another Doctor office called back missed the call... no message left called the number back was treated as if I was nevermind the intake person handle me rudely which was setting off my triggers I remained claim she proceeds to look for an appointments available tells me I have to see to people 1. For treatment 2. For Medicine control... I have never heard such...tried to set me up with a NP I dont have anything against NP Im a new patient and preferred to see a MD first Intake person has no respect for the MD called the Doctor by first name no title to it and states I can be seen on 1127... this is Oct. 25... When working with patients that have mental issues you have to have people that understand and have compassion You dont ever know what issues are going on and you just triggered all kinds of issues that patient may have ... My advice to you is to run as fast as you can from this facility

It is ironic that the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced has been from somewhere thats whole job is helping you with your mental health. In particular the Trussville office needs to be gutted out but from what I hear from calling around to other locations this whole thing is just a joke.
