I honestly feel like words are not enough to describe how thankful I am. Goodman Jewish family service Give me hope to keep on pushing. I was in the car sleeping with my 2 young kids for months. JeanMicheal is an amazing man with a big heart and alot of patience. With his help and helpful Supervisor and co workers I was able to find a place and get the help I needed to pay for the moving cost.Thank you a million I will never forget this

This place is very racist they do not help people of color. The lady that picks up the phone is very rude she hangs up on you and she have a very nasty attitude. If you African American you will not get any help from this program. They only look out for people of they own kind smh just sad.

And she wish me luck Thats y I dont trust giving towards charity I rather give directly to those in needs if I can because with those company the people in charge help people they want to.

I have been disappointed so many times by how poor the services provided over the last 20 years JFS is a money making organization and provides as little assistance as they can get away with.Unfortunately the behavioral services are nonexistent until JFS returns a call from someone in need it can be weeks. They have no Psychatrist on service. The aide service is deplorable. As a for profit business they do no screening they dont check the credentials of the aides they send out. There are many instances of the elderly having been robbed by the aides. Once caught by the police they are reassigned to another home. The Holocaust Programs they oversee are disgraceful. JFS receives the money to protect our few very old Holocaust Survivors. There is very little help The aides are assigned a few hours at one house a few hours at another. Survivors are mostly in their 90s and up. They require special care. After all JFS is making money on the lousy service they provide. Adequate help to the survivors or families of survivors is nonexistent. If an aide is a no show there is no where to call if its a holiday or weekend to get help. The message they leave is we will be backMonday . If this is an emergency call 911.Not having an aide to help a survivor who is in a wheelchair and needs assistance to dress or eat 911 doesnt apply. Another paid agency would have an emergency number to reach for help. I believe its time to dismantle our JFS and restructure it.

Wonderful agency that offers a variety of different services. Very professional in nature. Also has The CUPBOARD FOOD PANTRY. It also offers workshops and webinars on various related topics and subjects. Very educational as well as informative. Highly recommended.

Dr. Jessica Ruiz spoke incredibly about traumatic experiences and the importance of addressing them. The universality of this subject is essential in understanding that we can all benefit from exceptional trauma knowledge and treatment if needed. I thoroughly enjoyed her presence and hearing her speak about this subject made me more aware of its importance.
