Rachel L White PhD, BCBA-D earned her Masters degree in Applied Behavior Science at the University of Kansas in August 2007 and completed her Doctorate in Behavioral Psychology in May 2010. Her studies focused on structuring classrooms for student success and early intensive behavior intervention for children with developmental delays. Dr. White has participated in federally funded grants implementing School-wide Positive Behavior Supports in public schools and training parents of children with autism using online and video-conferencing technologies. Dr. White began supporting children with developmental delays in 2003. She has coordinated both center-based and in-home programs prior to moving to Alaska. Dr. White founded Good Behavior Beginnings in 2011 to meet the needs of learners with home-based services. Good Behavior Beginnings has also supported a private school, a preschool, and school-based services, as well as providing parent, caregiver, and community educational opportunities. Dr. White believes if a learner isn't making progress, we must change our strategy to support them. Now, Good Behavior Beginnings is focused on providing the resources and training for others to change their own behavior.
