About Go Behavioral

websitefacebooklinkedin

At Go Behavioral, we provide personalized, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services designed to help children with autism develop meaningful skills and greater independence. Our experienced clinical team works closely with children, parents, and caregivers to create individualized treatment plans based on each child’s unique strengths, needs, and developmental goals.

Our ABA programs may support the development of communication, language, play, social, motor, adaptive, and daily living skills, while also addressing behaviors that may interfere with learning and participation. We provide services in home, clinic, school, and community settings, helping children generalize the skills they learn into everyday life.

Family collaboration is at the heart of our approach. Through caregiver training, ongoing clinical support, and data-driven treatment, we equip families with practical strategies they can use beyond therapy sessions. Our goal is to create meaningful, measurable, and lasting progress that helps every child reach their potential.

The Go Behavioral Difference

At Go Behavioral, we believe effective ABA therapy goes beyond the therapy session. Our approach combines clinical expertise, individualized care, data-driven decision-making, and meaningful family collaboration to create lasting progress.

Individualized Care

Every child is different. We develop treatment plans around each child’s strengths, needs, developmental goals, and unique environment, rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Evidence-Based & Data-Driven

Our clinical decisions are guided by objective data, ongoing assessment, and evidence-based behavioral practices, allowing us to continuously evaluate progress and refine treatment when needed.

Real-World Generalization

We focus on helping children use the skills they learn in everyday life. Our services can take place in homes, schools, clinics, and community settings, supporting meaningful skill generalization across environments.

Family-Centered Partnership

Parents and caregivers are essential members of the treatment team. Through caregiver training, collaboration, and ongoing support, we help families reinforce progress beyond therapy sessions.

Compassionate, Accessible Care

We combine professional clinical standards with a compassionate and culturally responsive approach, striving to make care accessible to diverse families and communities.

At Go Behavioral, our goal is not simply to provide therapy—it is to build skills, empower families, and help children participate more confidently and independently in everyday life.

Founding Story

Our Beginning

In 2018, Go Behavioral was founded in Orlando, Florida, by Dr. Deena Moustafa, Ph.D., BCBA, with a clear vision: to create an ABA organization where clinical excellence, individualized care, and genuine compassion come together.

From the beginning, Go Behavioral was built around a simple belief: every child is more than a diagnosis, and every family deserves to feel supported, heard, and empowered. By combining evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis with a client-centered approach, our team worked closely with families to create meaningful treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals.

As we witnessed children develop new skills and families experience meaningful progress, our mission grew stronger. These successes became the foundation for our next chapter.

Expanding Our Reach

In 2021, Go Behavioral expanded to California, bringing our personalized, data-driven approach to more families. This expan

Frequently Asked Questions

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy rooted in the science of learning and behavior. Using principles of ABA, children and adults can learn to improve their communication skills, social skills, and daily living skills while also addressing problematic or challenging behaviors. The primary goal of ABA therapy is to teach helpful skills that promote independence and reduce harmful behaviors. Here's our complete guide to everything you need to know about ABA therapy.

It's a big decision to make for your family! Applied behavior analysis (ABA) seeks to improve communication skills, introduce productive habits, and reduce harmful behaviors. Watch out for ABA providers who look to "cure" autism.

High quality ABA therapy does exist where the goal is not to “fix” children, make them appear “less autistic”, or change who they are. The goal is to help people learn all that they can so they can live to their potential while embracing their unique, individual personality traits. Here's our complete guide to start and end ABA therapy.

ABA is usually covered by insurance if you have an autism diagnosis. Autism is typically the only diagnosis insurance will authorize for ABA services since its benefits have been researched extensively.

Always check with your specific insurance plan to confirm that ABA is covered for your child’s diagnoses and that the provider you are seeking care at is in-network. Here's our complete guide to everything you need to know about ABA therapy.

This happens. The results of the school’s evaluation may be different than your child’s medical diagnosis. It’s also important to remember that school is NOT the final say on your child’s potential. They may offer very little support to your child, underestimate their abilities, or disagree with you on what support your child needs. You will probably need to advocate for the services and support you believe your child needs.

Carefully consider your options when choosing a special education attorney. These services can be expensive, so it’s good to evaluate the services you will receive and whether its worth the investment for your family.

Most children go to daycare before they enter preschool at age 3 or 4. Most children stop daycare at the age of 6 when they go to school. Children who are homeschooled might continue daycare programs. Kids diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities might be in both daycare and therapy programs longer. Special needs programs and centers help children up to 26 years old.

One of the best things you can do is to have a conversation with the daycare staff. Share details about your child’s autism diagnosis, strengths, and challenges. Building open lines of communication will help you work together to support your child’s needs. Prepare the daycare provider to work with your child with a physical guidebook. This guidebook can include all of your child’s favorite things and how to calm them down. You might already have one ready from your experience with babysitters or teachers!

Here are a few alternative options to consider:

  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT): CBT helps by identifying and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. It's useful for those dealing with social anxiety or difficulties. CBT addresses cognitive patterns and provides strategies to manage social challenges.
  • Group therapy: Group therapy offers a supportive space where individuals can practice social skills. They can feedback from peers and a therapist. It allows interaction with others who understand and learn from each other.
  • Play-based interventions: Play therapy or play-based interventions work well for younger children or those who learn through experiences. Play activities target specific social skills like turn-taking and problem-solving in a safe and engaging setting.
