Gateway Healthcare - Hartford, Johnston

Had an incredibly bizarre intake appointment here for a relative.We were there for an hour and a half before the intake person explained what the services actually were that she expected my relative to sign up for. If she had explained in the first couple of minutes it would have saved us the entire visit or actually responded when we laid out what we needed within the first half hour but she was clearly recently graduated and lost control of the appointment almost immediately due to her inexperience plus lack of flexibility in the services this place currently offers so perhaps I should have held her hand a little more.Having been here before I know organizationally they have no problem wasting peoples time.She also pretty abruptly told us we had different insurance than she expected after well over an effing HOUR and ended the visit. All the comments here about just trying to take your insurance for a ride kinda ring true to me after how bizarrely that appointment ended. This is one that Ill call the insurance company over because it was just so unprofessional.Edit Ive received 5 messages in 3 business days about follow up... Cuz you know an hour and a half appointment wasnt long enough. I dont think I really need to explain how superfluous or annoying anyone might find that but here I am explaining.

Absolutely AWFUL The first therapist fell asleep on two separate sessions and the psychiatrist is just down right mean. Dont even bother because this place is horrible

Not always on the right page

My case worker never showed up for an appointment. I didnt recieve a call or any text. I had to call and leave a voice mail message with lead employee.

Worked there and dealt with alot of racism. Management did not take care of the situation. Very clique. A horrible place to work if a minority

They USE the money intended to help people with problems to create a fake job for a Lawer Judge and shtty psychologist to whack your insurance money as much as they can. Revolution is coming.

Triomedical andsee if he can go someplace else for a nice private doctor overcrowded and not on time

Did not know what staff was responsible for Gateway Horrible job Never go there
