Introduction
I am a passionate occupational therapist dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. My work focuses on supporting children with fine motor, gross motor, and sensory processing needs through engaging, play-based interventions. I believe in collaborating closely with families and educators to create individualized strategies that promote success in school and daily life. With experience in pediatric settings including schools and hospitals, I bring a comprehensive approach to therapy. I am committed to continuous learning and providing the highest quality care to help each child thrive in their unique environment.
What words would you use to describe yourself?
Dedicated
Collaborative
Growth-minded
Therapy is most effective when it is a collaborative process between the therapist and the child. Collaboration helps build trust, allowing the child to feel safe, heard, and respected. When children are actively involved, they are more likely to engage, express themselves openly, and take ownership of their progress. A collaborative approach also allows the therapist to tailor techniques to the child’s unique needs, strengths, and interests. By working together, both therapist and child create meaningful goals and solutions, leading to stronger outcomes. Ultimately, collaboration empowers the child, fosters confidence, and supports lasting emotional growth and resilience over time.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I am best positioned to serve children and young adults ages 2-21 who need support with developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, fine and gross motor skill development, and visual motor coordination. My background in both educational and medical settings allows me to support children with diverse needs, whether they're working on handwriting skills, self-care independence, or navigating sensory challenges in daily activities.
