Shame on Fuller hospital for responding to these heartbreaking reviews with a copypaste link.During my week in the adolescent unit I witnessed a staff member be thrown to the ground by another patient. She walked it off but when I was discharged she was in a leg brace working in the downstairs office. She was one of the only ones there who took the time to really talk with me and get to know me and on my way out she said something that really stuck with me. She did not deserve that kind of treatment. The same patient who attacked her also attacked other patients and was regularly pinned to the groundinjected with sedatives in full view of the entire unit. Booty shots. The doctor was smug disinterested and downright mean. I was given antipsychotic medications with no basis or explanation which I have never been recommended by anybody outside of Fuller.I slept on what was essentially a wooden box with a wrestling mat on top. Paper thin blankets and pillows were scarce one per patient. The other patients and I were so bored and hungry from the piss poor food that we would go through 20 bags of saltines throughout the day. All I did was play cards and watch TV.If I had not been informed of my rights by another staff member I would have been held there through Christmas. Another patient tried to take her own life. She had been there so long that her room was decorated with drawings and pictures and various things her family had sent. It was like a jail cell.I was here years ago and am so traumatized by the experience that I still check back on the reviews to this day. They remind me that what happened there was not my fault and that I am not alone in my experience.Somebodys pockets are being filled while patients and staff are subject to inhumane conditions. Should have been shut down yesterday.

Nurse Lori Cindy On Unit 3 Discriminated Me Badly As A Patient When I Was There I Requested For A Quiet Room For A Solid Reason and They Both Told Me My Reason Wasnt Valid But Prior To My Requests A White Patient Was In The Room For 4 Days Straight Another Patient Came In For A Quiet Room Request After I Requested For It Nurse Lori Granted It To The White Patient. Im Very Disappointed For Such Treatment.

Unless you are looking to just drug your child into submission this is NOT an actual care facility. After a 10 minute conversation with Dr Maguire she was attempting to put my child on Zoloft. After talking to my child when she got home for the day and telling me what theyre convo entailed I expressed my concern to prescribed such strong drugs after such a short interaction. I was told shes been doing this for 30yrs. She began extremely argumentative. Worst doctor Ive ever interacted with. This hospitals only interest is to get there kick backs on pharmaceuticals and . Mental health even of vulnerable children is a joke to them.

They dont actually care for the patients they are basically drugged up and left with nothing to do all day. Staff are treated terribly. Should be shut down.

I was lucky enough to have a few day vacation at this facility. The building itself is literally crumbling to the ground and their medical recordspatient tracking systems could be updated but that is not the important part of an involuntary mental health sabbatical.I gave it 5 stars because of the Doctor that I had the nurses and the staff. They were amazing. The chef was really also really accommodating with healthier options.

Overall my stay at Fuller was okay I give it a four out of five stars George and jovina were the best staff members there and by far encouraging and uplifting for mental health staffI do not recommend their food for anyone however the chef was nice with a smile which cheered up everyones dayI highly would encourage this hospital to monitor patient outbursts as they do not do a good enough job controlling their patients screaming and yelling which are disturbing to patients that are trying to restwhen their own patients are yelling and screaming out of their mind the staff needs to do something they continue to allow the patients to yell these are signs that the patients are out of controlI witnessed it with my own eyes overall they need to do a better job controlling their patients outburst and yelling overall though I give this hospital 4 out of 5 starsit was not bad for a state hospital however I wish they fed you more food and did a better job with the food selection I wish you guys the best if you ever end up in this hospital make sure you are polite respectful astute and make sure you talk to a lawyer to exercise your rights

This place is a literal mess. Came here for help with mental problems. I dont exactly want to explain everything because of privacy but it was SO BORING here. I came for help and I felt more like I was in jail. The people who built this place did not have the patients in mind at all. They barely had any activities to do here and some of the hallways smelled gross. I cried on my first day. I genuinely thought I did something wrong to be put here. I literally only came here for help. My heart goes out to all the people who had this place as their first experience in a mental hospital because there are much much better places out there for people dealing with stuff. I would give it a 0 if I could this place was a total dump.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with what is considered a treatment facility. The Nurse Practitioner refused to talk to my husbands current prescriber and wanted him to completely change his meds. There was absolutely no individual therapy given. My husband requested several times for me to be called and brought in on a conversation about medical stuff and they refused. Do NOT allow a loved one to attend this place. For the record this was the Partial Hospital Program.

The staff is caring. The facility is safe and clean. I believe the effort you put in towards therapy determines a personal outcome. The food is great.
