Dr. Nicole Hess is extremely helpful professional and knowledgeable. She takes a great deal of care with her patients. She provided me with useful resources and answered my numerous questions even months and years after the initial assessment. She is open to learning from her patients about their conditions and has a wonderfully amicable disposition.

My son has always been quirky and was struggling all through elementary school. We went to our pediatrician and a neurologist with no answers. His teachers found him difficult said he hated to write and he would lash out in anger when frustrated. He struggled immensely but the school never tested him for anything and did nothing for him as I didnt know our rights. I was desperate for help when I found Dr. Hess at Foundations. Dr. Hess did a thorough evaluation of my son spending hours testing him watching him in class and evaluating the questionnaires filled out by myself his father and his teachers. As a psychologist she cannot diagnose Tourette Syndrome but she showed me the criteria for diagnosis at our final meeting and it all made sense He had previously been misdiagnosed by a pediatric neurologist who said he was fine. We found a fantastic neurologist not long after Dr. Hess shared her findings with me and my son was formally diagnosed as having Tourette Syndrome. I am happy to say that one year later this boy is thriving in middle school This is a kid who struggled every year at his previous school who I homeschooled half the year last year due to anxiety. He is at a mainstream public middle school and has above a 3.5 gpa a bigger circle of friends is excited to start extracurricular activities at school and is happier and more helpful at home than ever before -- in middle school It may seem like a lot of money but my childs life has totally changed as a direct result of Dr. Hess work. I am beyond grateful
