Our mission is to treat your child as an individual who lives in the context of community and relationship, knowing that how they feel about how they communicate is as important as how well they communicate. Your child is special to you, and special to us. We provide treatment of speech, language, and reading disorders. In the process, we build your child up by talking as much about what they can do while addressing their areas of need. We use evidence-based practice, which means that we rely on current research and best practices to inform treatment. Katharine's experience working in early childhood settings also drives her emphasis on play as a mode of learning (playful learning). In other words, children learn best in natural settings, at their own pace, addressing real communication situations.
