About Family Soup

At Family SOUP we are dedicated to supporting, encouraging and providing information and facilitated referral to help families with children with special needs navigate complex service systems. We offer a variety of programs for parents/caregivers and children. We strongly believe in the power of parent to parent support and the role of parents as their child’s best advocate. The Family SOUP mission is to empower families of children with special needs through support and education to reach their full potential as members of the community. Please call or contact us by e-mail if you are interested in our services or would just like to talk to another parent.

Founding Story

Adrienne, a former board member for Family SOUP since 2018, is honored to be the Executive Director. Her respect for Family SOUP as an organization started with her own experience as a mother of a child with special needs. Seeing first-hand the importance of early intervention, parent-to-parent support, resources, and education, she developed a passion for helping children with special needs and their families, wanting to ensure that they never had to go through this journey alone. She is also the managing founder of the local YS Walk-N-Roll, volunteering with families of children with special needs since 2017

Absolutely no help at all. They claim to advocate for your disabled child but genuinely dont care about them at all.
