Had a great experience at Fairlawn. Nothing but the best service and top notch care. Even though I wanted to go home as fast as I could the nurses and staff made it so I was extremely comfortable and in less pain as possible. Highly recommend Fairlawn to anyone needing rehab or recovery.

Fairlawn is an amazing facility My Mother was there after brain surgery and everyone treated her with such care. It felt like she was their only patient. The schedule of PT OT and SLP kept her going and that is just what she needed. She wasnt just sitting she was up getting better. Again the team they have there are awesome people that you can tell love what they do. Thank you Fairlawn Team

zero literally if I didnt interviene my mother would be dead. Terrible nursing staff 2nd shift rehab unit. Mom status post massive brain surgery comes in awake alert x 3 signs self in etc. I come back next day 2nd shift shes in wc falling over barely can talk completely lethargic increased weakness on one side of body facial droop.. I say to nurse whats going on and says probably tired from day of intense therapy we will put to bed. I ask did you do neuro checks on her NO I say you know she just underwent major brain surgery right OH... I ask what do you recommend SLEEP.. I say did anyone call the doctor NO .. I say send her out now immediately... OK ... gets to hospital with massive subdural hematoma which is brain bleeding so if went to bed dead by am. WORST facility ever do not put anyone there. I called state they investigated and of course they doctored their books to sound like they did neuro check recommended she go right out. Pathetic incompetent uncompassionate 2nd shift nursing staff.

In early October my father underwent two weeks of rehab care at Fairlawn following a severe car accident. The staff comprising of OT PT nursing case managers Jason Jessica and doctors provided exceptional care for my father during his short-term rehab. From the receptionist to the doctors everyone showed great care for my father. There was only one issue I encountered when a violent and unstable patient was temporarily placed in the same room as my dad and attacked him. However I promptly brought this concern to the attention of the staff and they swiftly moved the patient to another room for safety reasons. Despite this incident my father received excellent care from the Fairlawn team and I am truly grateful for that. I am highly impressed with Fairlawn and rate the facility four stars and a half . I recommend this Rehab.Thank you .

Horrible place horrible nursing staff. Good PT but that doesnt make up for their YEARS of neglecting multiple patients I know. Meeting with facility manager accomplished NOTHING.If you care about your loved one AVOID this horrid place at all costs unless you are prepared to care for your loved one yourself like I did. They left my Dad sitting in his urine in the am slapped his bkfst tray in front of him and left. He was incapable of caring for himself or even opening his juice etc. Then PT would come and take him still wallowing in pee for his session. I had to go at 630 am to prepare him and clean him and again at night because its the same routine. They hated me there because I did this and also helped other patients who were being neglected and had no family. Feel free to contact me for more details if you want. This place should be shut down.

A lot of patients and families who interact with Fairlawn are going through veryy difficult challenges of health and money they are unused to. When my senior Dad needed care my family sprang to action had lots of questions and not enough answers. But when we interacted with the gracious and expert staff at Fairlawn Worcester our needs were expertly handled. Grateful to Joy at first who stayed calm during our storm and delivered clear and accurate info. The direct care team was thoroughly positive and on track at all times. I dont think all families will be as involved as I was in my Dads stay at Fairlawn but I dont think I needed to be as active as I was. Once I realized how good they were treating Dad I was finally able to take a breathe cut my visits down by half and trust their doctors nurses and other clinicians. It was a much needed break.I highly recommend. Dad is home now and still going through the journey of recovery. But Ive been able to process how integral Fairlawn was and am grateful we decided to trust them. Our case worker Meg was generous in guidance about all sorts of things as well.I was not paid to post this review. If you found it helpful please thumbs up. Good luck to you all.

My brother was a patient here and the care was amazing. I was so inspired by the care that I wanted to be part of such a team. Despite being offered many positions I decided to join the Fairlawn Team. I am proud to work here.

Despite having a different preferred rehab hospital my uncle needed to be transferred here after he finished inpatient post-op care at Umass Memorial. But it ended up being a very pleasant experience. Everyone I interacted with by phone or in person were friendly and knew what they were doing. My uncle was very happy with the nursing staff and the OT he worked with. The only downside was that my uncle said the PT refused to evaluate him on crutches and opted only to use a walker. I understand this from a rehab perspective but he is very accustomed to using crutches and felt he didnt gain as much strength as he could have because of using only the walker. She also told him that no doorway was too narrow for a walker but our bathroom is.Aside from this we were very happy with his care and conversation here and would certainly consider returning if needed in the future.
