About Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities - Services & Supports Campus
Fairfield DD is committed to continuing our journey as a mission-driven organization. Author Simon Sinek uses three words – WHY, HOW, and WHAT - in a concept he names The Golden Circle. The outermost circle, labelled WHAT, represents an organization’s output. The next circle, HOW, includes the values, processes, and infrastructure behind the work, and the innermost circle represents WHY the organization does what it does. Individual Support Coordinators (ISCs) of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities that work with adults usually support individuals and families after a transition from educational services. Individual Support Coordinators (ISCs) for children eligible for Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities services work with individuals ages three to 14.
Family Support Services is a program designed to assist families who are caring for a family member with a disability, when that person resides in their home. Reimbursable services and supports through Family Support Services are tailored to the unique needs of the individual. Through FSS you can get information, referrals, respite care, and purchase orders to buy a variety of items.
