An amazing resource for parents of children with special needsdisabilities and their siblings. Theres an adaptive gym of the kind at schools with a strong OTPT program. The place is really welcoming. No one judges you or your kids behavior. They offer paid classes on Saturdays and Sundays. Art music and movementdance type. Theyre relative unstructured so its ok to participate in your own way for instance my daughter dances throughout the music class and no one bats an eye. And they have summer programming as well. Theres locations in Brooklyn - one in Red Hook and one in Crown Heights and theres a new one in Queens and theyre working on one for the Bronx. Its an amazing thing theyre creating. The only problem will be once demand outstrips supply - there are so many families in need of this out there and so few know of it. And theres so few spots relative to the population.
