The owner is pretty nice to talk to and she is very open and friendly to any new welcomers. However some of the staff is very rude and judgemental. I went there to volunteer and was greeted with cold shoulder from a female staff member. Another man said I wasnt brooming the stable correctly Didnt know its possible to not broom grass correctly.

Brought my daughter 9 years old for a trail ride and we had a great experience. Chris was friendly informative and fun. The grounds are varied and pretty. We especially appreciated the shade for much of the ride in the Texas summer heat We have been on other trail rides at other places in the past but this one was by far the best in the Dallas metro area.

The place was amazing because of the very friendly staff fun atmosphere beautiful and sweet horses and trail. The horse park loves to help the community especially children. Chris was our guide and was very patient and helped my family perfectly. Rhonda gave us a tour of the horse park and was very friendly and informative. Beth set up the appointment and was very compassionate. I highly recommend this horse park especially for those who have never done horse riding before.

I went to a suppose to be Jazz Concert on FridaySep 1st at this place. It was awful and sad ..they made you park in high grass for 10 which was not posted on the website until you got there and you had to ride a shuttle to the venue if you can call it that....The place was a place were the horses run it had dirt all over the place where you had to walk. The concert was suppose to start at 730 it did not It started at 830 after 1 hour of sound checks. Please Black Arts Academy ...Please do better next year if you ever have on again.

Had my daughters birthday here and there services were better than anything. If your rusty or dont know how to ride this is a good place to learn.

Best trails and guides everShane and Chris made sure we were safe and explained everything on the land. It wasnt just riding in a circle but I felt like a cowgirl on their trails- very impressed with their beautiful grounds.We were able to run with the horses- amazing experience.Also the owner Wayne was amazing- this is a nonprofit company that helps out disabled children- what a wonderful placeExtremely impressed with this place Must go

Cool staff Irene helped me in setting up an appointment. I took my family there who neither they nor myself have ever rode on a horse. The staff was patient and made sure each person was comfortable. Joe even rode next to my Aunt who was scared for her life lol.In addition the prices are reasonable and some of the best that I have found.Definitely will recommend and sure to go again.

My daughter received a 4 pack horseback riding as a birthday present during the holidays. Due to weather she did not complete all 4 sessions. I have been trying to schedule and buy more for 2 weeks. The receptionist told me I forfeited the unused session because I didnt use it within 30 days I was never told that. Plus she was rude and condescending. I asked for the manager Brandy and have left 4 messages in 2 weeks. She will not return my calls. Sooo disappointing. They must not care too much about customer service or sales. if you can get through the office staff the Cowboys were very nice and the horses and facilities are also nice

I am not having a good experience with Texas Horse Park Inc. I normally do not post reviews but im very unhappy right now. I scheduled a graduation present to myself for a horseback riding session in May that was cancelled the day before due to weather. They informed me that they do not give refunds and that I have to use my session within a year. Even after explaining that I did not live in Dallas they still would not refund my money. I have attempted to reschedule it numerous times but they are always booked or having an event. Today I tried to schedule again and they are booked for the only weekend I could do it. I would think they could at least just refund me my money or apologize for the inconvenience. I feel forced to do an activity that I am no longer interested in doing with this company anymore and they still ended up being able to keep the money I paid them. I know its not their fault because of their policies but being a little more understanding or a little more considerate would be helpful.

I bought a Groupon for a frisat trail ride over three months ago. I called to schedule it their weekends were booked for several weeks due to private bookings. Tried to schedule again a few weeks ago and was told they were not scheduling for that weekend bc of rain. It did not rain at all that weekend. I tried scheduling a couple weeks after that and no one ever answered the phone after I called several times. I finally left message over a couple weeks ago and this week as instructed on their recorded message and no one ever got back with me. Ive been calling all week with no answer so I got a friend to call and lo and behold they got through with no problem The friend was unsuccessful in scheduling the ride bc he didnt have the voucher number. So I tried calling afterwards no answer the first three tries Im pretty sure they recognize my number and just dont answer. I got an answer on my final attempt and was told they are booked this weekend and could schedule it during the week Well the Groupon expires after this weekend and normal people work during the week. So Im just out of money wasted on nothing. This place reeks of incompetence and lack of customer service
