About Ennio M Colon, MD

Dr. Ennio Colon is a board certified pediatrician with 24 years of practice experience. He received his Medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine. He completed his Pediatric Residency program at Miami Children’s Hospital and went on to pursue a Pediatric Infectious Disease fellowship at Tulane University, New Orleans, La. After completing his fellowship he joined South Florida Pediatric Partners in 2000. His special interest include new born through adolescent medicine and pediatric infectious diseases. Dr. Colon is an attending physician at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Baptist Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children’s hospital where he has been recognized for his many years of service to the children of South Florida. He is also a preceptor for Medical Students, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Residents. He has also been recognized as one of America’s Top Pediatricians. Dr. Colon is involved with many community activities that advocate for children including but not limited to Autism Speak Walkathons. Dr. Colon is bilingual in Spanish and English and is currently accepting all patients from newborns to age 21.
