Worked for this company under the former CEO and had no issues for six plus years. New CEO comes in and cleans house.I was even thrown under the bus by my supervisor who was the human resource director at the time only for her to be let go a month later. They tried to have me sign off on a piece of paper that I accepted the reason why I was being let go.Pretty comical and sad at the same time. Everybody knows when youre working for a nonprofit youre not in it for the money youre in it because you love what you do. You wont find that at this place. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

They should not be allowed to claim themselves as non profit. They take 95 of your TOTAL income. For every 100 you make you keep 5 and they keep 95 Leaving you no way to purchase clothing haircuts OTC items or any other items you work hard to earn for to just give it away to them.

Ive worked At Enable thats located in Princeton For a couple of years now And I Do Not Recommend anyone taking their family member there The Work place is Hostile they dont care about the Resident Needs Some of the homes the residents get abused the company do not pay their staff well they would fire any employees with no warning it doesnt matter how many years youve worked there company. They lie to families about the welfare of the residents at the homes. And before I Left That horrible place half of the day program staff quit because of horrible work conditions and hostile work environment. If I could give this horrible place a negative star I would. I just hope no one takes their Family Members to this Hell Hole..

HR is awful and rude and they dont appreciate their employees. This company does not do whats best for their consumers and they dont care about their employees. I was wrongfully fired for days I requested off in advance one of these days being my uncles funeral who was autistic. They deemed it as a no call no-show even though they knew in advance because I didnt have PTO. I had proof of the funeral but they didnt even set up a meeting or anything. They fired me over the phone which is very unprofessional and didnt even let me explain. I wouldnt recommend working here because the higher-ups have no respect for the staff in residentials or the day program.

Enable has a HUGE turnaround rate. The staff in the day program are petty and make it their business to get you fired or suspended. Vicky is the nurse practitioner has no idea what shes doing. She talks about her staff to other staff told HR that I wasnt coming back when I told her someone close to me was in the hospital. HR does not listen to what you have to say. This is a horrible place to work and people are either quitting or getting fired. Dont work here. They make everything seem dandy when you first come to orientation and once you start its a whole different story. Save yourself the hassle.

Its not only been three years this month since I called it quits working in this field but a decade this month since working for this sorry agency. I was a house manager from 2012 to 2013...everything was ok until they hired this snake to so-call make improvements at Enable. He would talk down to me threaten my employment and turn people against me. House staff were unruly and mouthy as well. There would be these all-day manager trainings at the main office which would only hold me up from doing the piling-up work at my own group residence. The food they provided at the main office meetings consisted of like kid gummies and stale pretzels...I mean COME ON WERE ADULTSNo raises no recognition no respect no wonder why they never get good help. The snake on the other hand is long gone from Enable I have my ways of finding things out and if hes either not retired or if the pandemic didnt claim him........at 60 Im sure hes screwing up someones career somewhere else right now.If you want to work in this field work for Advancing Opportunities.............youll be glad you did.

Worst place I have ever worked in my life. I wouldnt recommend working here even to my worst enemy. Management is where the problem is along with the CEO. They are a poor representation of the organization. They do not take complaints of harassment seriously as they too are part of the problem. All I can say is run.

I have worked at Enable for more than 3 years as a Program Director. During this period I have seen the agency grow and expand in many service areas including residential and day habilitation services. I have developed positive and rewarding relationships with individuals receiving services. I am also fortunate to work with a wonderful group of colleagues whom I respect and admire tremendously for their unwavering dedication and commitment to the field of disability services. Overall it has been a wonderful work experience

Enable is a close knit work environment that focuses on the well being of others in order for them to live healthy and independent lives There have been good changes made in the past few months that are quite promising to the future of Enable.
