Empower Behavioral Health - Atascocita

Empower Behavioral Health provides clinic-based ABA therapy for children, teens, and adults with autism at clinics across Texas. Every child works one-on-one with their own dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs and oversees every ABA treatment plan.

Programs: the Full-Time ABA Day Program (30 to 40 hours per week, structured like a school day) and the Part-Time Program (15 to 20 hours per week, often used alongside school).

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. All therapy is in person at the clinic.

Ages served: 18 months through adulthood, with no age cap.

We work on communication, social skills, daily living skills, school readiness, play, and independence. Families stay involved through our open door policy, regular BCBA progress meetings, and parent training.

Insurance: in-network with most major commercial plans, plus TRICARE and CHAMPVA, at every clinic. Texas Medicaid plans vary by clinic. Our intake team verifies benefits at no cost.

An autism diagnosis from a qualified medical provider is required to begin ABA. If your family doesn't have one yet, we can connect you with a local diagnostic provider.

Empower Behavioral Health was founded in 2015 in San Antonio, Texas, by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and healthcare leaders who saw a need for comprehensive, quality ABA services for individuals with autism. Since then, Empower has grown to serve thousands of families across Texas, in metro, suburban, and rural communities. Empower is still led by clinicians, and behavior analysts who were with Empower at its founding remain part of executive leadership today.
